I almost messed up and extended some important detail of my art past the grey line (thinking it was supposed to stretch to the red line). This video thankfully saved me and I was able to correct my mistake in time.
It looks so sick!!! I had just bought a Razer Panthera Evo and I'm thinking of customizing it too. :) Also, I had just bought DoA 5: Last Round today, coincedentally, a great timing with your video cause of Kasumi hahaha. Great Job and thank you for the tutorial. :)
finally a video on the customization! sadly focus attack does not ship where i live, do you have any recommendations on cutting the buttons+stick holes in the print at home ? specially if i dont have a laser lol thanks for the video anyways, greetings from brazil
It’s a bit costly but if you get Focus Attack to send the items to a certain place, they will then send it to you. There was a company that wouldn’t ship outside the U.S so I ordered it to this warehouse in the U.S and they then would send it to me. Just an idea of course.
I would leave the Razer buttons just the way they are and swap out the sanwa JLF lever's ball-top for a bat-top. And as for the restrictor plate, I recommend octagonal. The only thing that I do not like about the EVO Panthera stick is that the stick is not compatible with the PS3.
Focus Attack. They offer a printing service for a vast array of fightsticks, printing and cutting artwork on thick paper/card, to fit under clear plexi (in the case of the Panthera Evo, the one already fitted to the stick). When you order a custom print, you send them a PSD file of your design for them to print for you.
I just bought the marvel version of this stick, I was reading stuff like the art is hard to remove but you just took it out from under plexi glass, is this the case?
I think you were reading stuff about the original Panthera. This is the newer version, the Panthera EVO. Because yeah, the original was pretty annoying to remove the artwork
Finally an art customization vid on this stick

2:49 I don't think I worded this very well. In case it wasn't clear, I was referring to the button icons on the artwork.

Cool. I just ordered a Panthera Evo.
I will probably do a costum artwork too! Nice to see how easy it is!
Do you need to manually put the button label (X, triangle, circle, square) on the button?
in what size do you need to print for it to fit?

Where i cant more designs or more templets?
thanks for this
Is the plexi transparent, does it darkens the print? Focus Attack's file has a layer about it.
The plexi does darken the image slightly. The 10% black layer in the file is pretty accurate.
Hey, you forgot the plastic washers on the buttons.

how'd you get/print the artwork, like is it paper or plastic like explain i'm confused.

@@SSJ2Aydan thanks for the reply, you're right I never realised there were two versions of the Panthera
WarriorFromAnUnknownLand no problem!
poor choice of a game with the artwork you put on the stick.
