Yeah I ordered buttons took about two weeks but this is def what I think I needed to get the custom work

Do you have any color correction tips in regards to preparing for print? I'm worried my art will print out too dark. Focus attack makes some suggestions in regards to adjusting the levels, but they use photoshop in their example, not gimp.
Not sure. I haven't had a color situation as of yet.
1st I would tell you to maybe do a test print to see if your print comes out too dark or even try to check it on different displays (if you have access to).
Aside from that I would look into GIMP's CMYK features and see if that would help your situation (if the test print didn't go well).
I want to print in my own home epson printer, how to do that after all these steps? A4 size paper.
Well most fightsticks have a canvas surface that's bigger than most home printer beds.
So I would say that your first thing to do is find out if your fighstick is small enough for you to print at home.
If it is, then most likely A4 paper will do the trick.

I cant find the fuzzy tools on my Photoshop
Every time I try to color the background it just covers the entire image in that green. Sorry suck at any art programs. Edit: Figured that part out now I have a lot of options you don't have showing so I just messed with those until I got it. Now I'm trying to adjust artwork, the floating layer is working all weird for me IDK. Hopefully this comes out good, thank you so much for the help I just bought the monoprice dark matter, and focus attack isn't printing them I guess anymore but since I'll be getting it print and cutting myself hopefully all will be good.
Make sure that you're on the correct layer and that, that layer is lower on the hierarchy than other layers
@@DimzNoms Yeah something is off because I have issues with fuzzy tool as well. Anyway something is way off with the template and my stick because I designed like five went to kinkos and wasted 20 bucks. I have the monoprice dark matter which it does say the artwork is off on the site, but I see others posting about it so I don't know. Hopefully I can get the art changed. Ya know I did convert to pdf because that's how kinkos printed it out do I need to do something different when converting to a pdf?
Edit: For anyone doing this and getting printed yourself , make sure to measure when you get it printed. Have either the plexi or a tape measure unless you have sharper eyes then me. Printed on 11x17, but it was fit to page. Make sure you tell the printers ACTUAL SIZE, the focus attack templates can be oversized.
should I leave the LAYOUT layer on like you do in the video at the end?
You can, but 100% yes IF you are getting a custom layout print that you will have to cut yourself.

Can I use GIMP to create an artwork for the PS5 controller?
I'm not good at spraying and painting so I decided to use decal skins, but I still can't find the app's design and the template.
how do i add button prompts on the art, like square, circle, triangle, X etc ..
Well you're going to do that one yourself by possibly googling "Xbox/PS button icons" and cropping/cutting them out and then placing them one of your art layers.
This is might be a dumb question. But do they cut the holes for you?
Not a dumb question at all! On FocusAttack, if they have a pre-made template for your controller (which they do for most of the popular ones) then they will cut the button holes for you!
What controller are you trying to get the holes cut for?

Lower on the page you can download their template so that you can put your artwork on there, then upload up it for printing.
I also do GFX commissions for fighsticks if you would like me to help you with getting your fightstick piece done (Link in description).
why does my pc not open up the template?
Do you have the template set to 'Open With' GIMP or any other photo editing software that accepts .psd files?
If not, right-click the template file and have it 'Open With' a program that accepts .psd files.
Or you can drag and drop the file into an open application of GIMP.

GIMP is a photo editing software on PC. So i believe that you do require a computer to use it.
I don’t have a pc …
