I'm EXTREMELY thankful for your videos and tutorials. Please keep up the great work. You build things that I can build...vs other woodworkers that use machines I can never afford.
Exactly what i hopped on here to say - its the small details that take this to the next level. Even by adding the thin trim along the back and sides. I recently inspected a newly built home which cost $650,000 - it was filled with imperfections in alignment and joinery - even the brickwork was out. Stefani would make a killing in Australia with their quality work.
Very nice result. Yes, Besta is a great line of pieces. Can't believe they made you do that with the electronics in place. Working around them probably added a few hours to the build, not to mention all the extra planning and fussing.
This is a great result and it really makes the room look cozy and inviting! I especially like how you go through the steps without a lot of extraneous chatter. Very professional. I am a decent DIYer and it has given me confidence I can design and build my own wall unit. Thanks very much!
On top of your incredible talent and skill, I am always so deeply satisfied with how neat and tidy you work. I have never seen a man that could work that clean. So amazing! 😍😍
Wow that had to have taken awhile to do. I have that same wall in my house and have been trying to come up with a idea worthy of that space. I never could find something online or in stores that I liked this was something I don’t have the tools or skills to do. You are very good and you need a TV show.
Looks beautiful! If they decide to move the bottom item you can grab one of those desk plugs for the hole and just paint it the same color and you won't even see it!
This was a great project and I enjoyed watching it! Personally, I would have covered the TV and stereo receiver, can imagine dust from sanding and paint splattering onto them.
Thanks a lot Stefani... You really inspire me. I can't wait to work on a small DIY at home. I will take you design and modify it a bit. God bless you for us. Here from South Africa.
Projects like this are fun until it's time to prepare for painting! filling holes sanding smooth caulking it drives you crazy And you have a really large detailed unit to do. Great work!
So cool, but I am curious that what's the limit weight the cabinet of two side can handle with. They were made in hollow but looks crazy thick. If I hide some thing up there, my kids will climb up there for sure.
I like it- but wonder if benches can take weight, and would have custom/ semi custom cushions made instead of pillows then toss pillows in matching/ contrasting fabric for other furniture in room.
This is sooooo Amazing!!! I am definitely going to try this !!!!!! I price entertainment centers and they are extremely expensive but if I can do this oh my and this looks so much better!!!!!!
Looks beautiful! You make it look easy and doable even for a beginner. I probably would have added more cabinets instead of the benches, as I'd rather have extra storage. But the benches will come in handy if you have company over.
I am really like your cabinet and also the color. May I ask what color is that? And if you don’t mind can I have the code for that color? Thanks a lot. You did amazing job 👏👏
Stefani.....this looks absolutely beautiful. I know your in-laws must be so happy with the final result. And your father-in-law now has somewhere to store that cherished beer stein. The Silver Fox color is perfect. But that wood top.....icing on the cake. Now they only need end tables and a coffee table to match. 😉 Outstanding job, Sweetie. Just in case there are no new videos before Thanksgiving....have a wonderful one. Thanks for sharing. 🦃🦃
Thank you so much, Denise!! My in-laws are thrilled with how everything came together. I agree with you, a new coffee table and matching end tables would be a great addition. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well. ❤🦃
Great project. Always a good watch.. helps gives me ideas for my place. Can't wait for the next one. . I've got 1 question.... why don't you make or have a work bench or table? Makes me nervous watching when you cut your pieces of wood. I know they are propped up.
Enjoy watching your videos and your projects always come out great. But one small thing to point out - per NEC, extension cords should never be installed as permanent wiring. Nor should they be secured with conductive materials (e.g nails, staples). It looks like you are comfortable working with electrical. A code-compliant and more importantly a safer solution is probably well within your skill set.
Something I learned from my worst customer is that the smaller the caulk bead is better, in a way I agreed with him, because you end up using less caulk and smaller beads don't pressure you to chamfer them perfectly.
Haha, I thought I'd had to wait a week or so for part 2 :-) Beautiful project and great execution! Edit: however I wouldn't be that brave, painting the wall with the TV uncovered....
Awesome build Stef! love the finished product and the color choice for the wall/unit. Maybe this could help you in the future for different builds depending on what they're/you're looking for... To hide cable box and tv components I've gone down to Hobby Lobby and picked up some fabric. Can't recall the exact name but it's basically like the black mesh that covers up speakers. I used it make a "Hidden" door that opens when you push it (push locks). GREAT for hiding all your equipment and even sound bars too. Been using it for about 2 years now and I've never had a problem with the IR receivers not working on my equipment. Just food for thought. I've noticed that not many people are using it and I think it not only looks great but is super functional. Thought I'd share and maybe it could help you or even others that are reading this for their projects.
Looks amazing. Beautiful job. I always love watching your videos. Just an idea, I think putting matching mirrors underneath both windows would make them look bigger and reflect the light. Making a custom size so it’s the same width and the window would look great so it tricks the eye into making the window seem bigger. But also any mirror would look good too.
Wow. This is next level hardwork AND outcome. What a job !
Wonder women who?? I meaaaan this looks a-mazing! You know you can’t buy this whole unit in this perfect condition. Wow.👏🏽👏🏽
I'm EXTREMELY thankful for your videos and tutorials. Please keep up the great work. You build things that I can build...vs other woodworkers that use machines I can never afford.
Taking the time to caulk the seams really sets the level of your craftsmanship apart from the typical DYI person, and even most pros. Looks great!

Awsome, Your planning and attention too detail show off an amazing finished product! They are lucky to have you as part of the family!

I would customize my entertainment unit by having you come & build it! You are incredible..well done..

You couldn't resist to bash on men? So sad.

Excellent! One of the best so far
I love how you make your shelves look like thick slabs. I have to borrow your idea. Love the build.
Too much work but worth it . Great result very beautiful and unique well done ✅
Thank u very much for the breakdown. Makes it seem tackable. Definitely motivating and encouraging.
What an upgrade! Pretty work!

Omg those windows must have made this project difficult to plan around.
It came out amazing! I love how you make custom shelves. I learned so much!

Looks nice, but did you leave any ventilation for the electronics?
Nice job! Greetings from Bulgaria!
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
Excellent project and great job! I have one stupid question: I see an AV receiver but no speakers. Where are those hidden?
I am really like your cabinet and also the color. May I ask what color is that? And if you don’t mind can I have the code for that color? Thanks a lot. You did amazing job 👏👏
Good job! Amazing how 35 haters can give this video thumbs down.

Why do the shelves on the tall units have tops and bottoms? Great work btw
Nagyon szép lett 👍🏻 .A fiók előlap is te csináltad ? Arról is ha lehetséges képét hogy hogy csináltad.
Lovely work!
AMAZING CHANGEOVER
NICE WORK
Hey Stefani,
I love this project.
Wow 👏, amazing and beautiful 🔥💯😍 I would love something like this in my home. You are super talented 👏, great job 💯❤
💖💖💖💖💖 You're A Professional, Gorgeous built-in‼👍🏻👍🏻
I was wondering why you opted to recess the benches and not keep them flush with the cabinet? Its stunning work as usual! ❤
Haha, I thought I'd had to wait a week or so for part 2 :-) Beautiful project and great execution!
Edit: however I wouldn't be that brave, painting the wall with the TV uncovered....
I love your work! Well done!!
you can build well, why the need for besta? might as well build all together and will be more robust and great 👍
