Though early failure, I was almost forced to get stronger faster and smarter quicker because you never wanna be defeated or left behind for being weak.

Gosh, I feel sad. I feel like I am running out of time. My profile picture looks young (for my microscopic business profile) but I am an older woman and I have been eating healthy, working out, meditating, and taking self-development courses (starting with EST) since the 1970's. I have failed so many times mostly because I get dragged into a dysfunctional family or an intimate relationship problem that thwarts my progress. Shit. I have wasted so much energy and time attempting to prevent a family crises, drug overdoses, or even a suicide. I am drained. I feel guilty walking away even though I know I am not responsible for other people's souls, or life choices. My physical and mental health has taken such a big hit, that I am no longer functioning at peak performance. I finally expressed this to my family and friends. Honestly, I can no longer afford them in my life, at least not within close range. I told them that I did my best, and that I felt like I failed them. I love them and want them to be happy, but I don't have anything left to give. Personally, I feel disappointed in my failure, but I am ready to move on. I am so happy to watch your guests and your videos. They keep me inspired to "stay on track". In the future, I can only hope and pray that my family, friends, or former partners will make better choices. I also hope they remember my sincere efforts, empowering statements, or lifestyle examples in their time of need. Keep up the good work Ed. Thank you.

“Never settle” is the absolute worst advise you can give any human being. The majority of people have no clue what they want, never work to improve themselves, and expect others to meet the needs they lack.
This is everything that’s wrong with the “self-improvement” industry.
It’s sad to see so many people be misled by the BS of “never settle”
Most people don’t get what it means.
Never settle means if YOU are living to your fullest potential in your:
    •Health
    •Looks
    •Mindset
    •Wealth
    •Education
If not, you have no right to expect the best from others if you’re not expecting it from yourself.
    Capisce?

@@EdMylettShow You know I was introduced to your podcasts last week. The first podcast I heard was the "10 Steps to level Up". I listened to you on my way to work, and you fired me up so much when I went into work that day, I was in such a good mood. It surprised me. Because I am working in a less than desirable job, have been trying to get out if it for a while now, the places I would interview, would let me know I the top candidate, but I wasn't picked, which I think God is saying to me, "a better door is opening". A door opened and I have made the decision to go into financial services, I am going to be my own boss and really help people. 3 years ago I was doing it but my story changed and I had to get a W2. Since I started working in this feild again its been only 3 weeks and I have already notice a transformation in my self. The environment is so uplifting l, supportive, and motivating, it fires me up. The questions I have been asked are what do I want from this and what are my goals? I told my upline director and he said those are not strong enough. That frustrated me because these were my goals. So I have been listening to your podcasts to figure out bigger goals for myself. I have had some minor set backs, and I noticed I was getting into that negative state. But seeing that you have so many topics to choose from, I have to do a catch up. Every morning I listen to a new topic you present. I am not sure if you have a talk on "Visualization of the Goals" but I really need help in that area. I call my path a new reformation of myself, because when my story changed, my mind changed. I wont go into that because it will make this comment even longer. So I want to get that old optimistic person back, but I know it will be a new me. If that makes since. This morning I listened the talk on "Never Give Up" with Eric Legrand. It was so inspirational. Thank you, thank you, for what you do!

23:17-25:00 - I do believe that Michael hit a point right there in the video when he talked about not being a second rate version of someone else. I think the word there is "differentiation" and I think it was a very true and accurate way of presenting it. I think this couple naturally come across very authentic and powerful. What is being built? What extra miles are being achieved? (What are they willing to do others can not?) What light of the world is being brought out? (What are they doing that others will be unable to do?). I think they are genuinely looking to create value for their listeners to their podcast. Great interview Ed.

Healthy sexual life between your wife and yourself. I've been married for over 13 years and what you and the two others said was true. not only do you have to get creative but you have to work harder and harder the longer you know your spouse. We have better sex than we ever did before. It's completely intentional. It changes all the time. But I don't think that many people in relationships understand goodness and power of sex. You bring it up often. it's a huge portion of being a human and msrried and it's not talked about properly almost ever.

ha ha i hear you on your fear of social media. I think mine stems from a fear of rejection, or lack of acceptance. I'd like to get to the place where I post just to get my ideas into a space beyond my own mind. If i can do this with little expectation from others, and let it evolve with time; I think I could create content with a purpose and direction to a specific audience. I encourage you to get started and see what starts to take place. Good luck man!

@@AndrewRiscart thank you. I agree with you. The first video I posted with most terrifying thing I've ever done. But I was proud of myself. I'm in the same boat. I'm gonna post more regularly for sure. I have to remember social media has been used for good as well as bad. I should use it for good purposes.

@@EdMylettShow oh my gosh! Do I need to narrow it down to one? J/k...but I did listen to it twice yesterday and wrote 2 pages of notes. What stood out was when the topic turned to relationships. My boyfriend and are right there. We are both stepping up our personal development habits and it has highlighted weaknesses in our relationship. So the 2nd time I listen to the podcast was with him. So grateful because it has started a great dialogue between us otherwise we would be heading towards "don't settle for half assed".

Ed, my name is Jessica Pozega and I just have to say watching your own growth has been so inspiring. Your humble nature, putting people first...There has got to be a way to get your mindset and beliefs into the hands of educators of sorts... like a #MAXOUT Academy to reach even more of the 90% who are asleep at the wheel. Or a raising conciousness awareness study course that's a required course in high school. An Ed Mylett magazine that could recap your interviews and you can promote back those you mentioned. Just like Oprah's magazine. My apologies for the tangent, just speaking inspired thought right out onto this page.
I feel that your content and guests speak so much relevance to today's modern times. And how incredible it could be to reach people in the billions.
I too have grown SO much and have embraced every experience, good/bad or indifferent and learned from it. You have helped so many including myself along their journey and am so incredibly grateful for all you do.
Yes, one of your best interviews yet with this power couple.

Omg! This was so surreal! "Like words to my mind". I have been single for 4 1/2 years after a really bad relationship. I DESIDED to stay single because I was so sick and tired of having one shity relationship after the next and I realized I had to face the reality "I carried myself with me in and out of all those relationships". "I" was the one common denominator. I needed to change! I have this quote I live by "I'd rather be SINGLE than SETTLED". Love, love, love! That they mentioned to everyone "not to settle".
I am not taking on the world YET, as a new author, nor have I broken out as a top level transformational coach, and no I haven't hired a team yet to grow my business but, you know what I am doing? Im appreciating the journey, spending as much time with my kids and watching them grow, I have great appreciation for my current situation and my life. And I am grateful that I live in a world that is filled with so many amazing people who I can watch and listen to like Ed and this beautiful couple.
If you do read this and struggling in anyway, "EMBRACE the unknown and be excited about the unexpected" because life truly is amazing. And remember, "Everything is moving you forward into your purpose". So when a door closes find a window, and JUMP! Much Love xo ❤

I was also inspired by the discussion on working on a relationship not just on yourself and hoping that will create a great relationship.

I'm just not sure when to stay and when to leave. I notice feeling the ups and downs and how they impact me.
