I just got this boat today, and took it out to Lake Washington in absolutely terrible conditions, easily 15 knot winds. Constant 1.5 foot waves. Boat did quite well considering how bad the conditions were. The self flipping using reverse worked very well. Super fun boat! Great bang for buck.
I always enjoy boat week with y’all. That is a quick little booger! Glad to see Abby doing well…y’all take care and look forward to all the boats this week!
Abby always feels like she “doesn’t look good today” for videos but I try to tell her otherwise! Summer time Abby is usually much happier than Winter Abby though, so more RC fun time too!! 👍💯❤️⚓️

Hey, nice video as always, thanks for the content. Just a thought since it's boat week. I don't know what camera you shoot your video on, but have you tried out a polarizing filter? You guys shoot on such sunny days sometimes and it would help cut the glare off the water. Would probably also be useful for deepening the blue of the sky for your airplane videos. Great video and great content. I can tell you guys love what you do. Just found you guys since I am just getting back into RC. I am looking for my first boat, but I am really stumped. I would love the Shreddy, but that is a bit out of the price range for now. was interested in something a bit larger than 18" this seems great but flipped a lot. I am considering this, the Arrow and the Stealthwake (that one makes me nervous too about no self-righting) all based on your reviews. Any input from you or followers would be appreciated. Nice little boat but I flip mine in the middle of the lake on my second time out and I couldn’t get it back. The self righting wouldn’t work until an hour later I was able to flip it back so weird. A fun boat to have and I’m still taking it out
Great video! Does it beep or go into a low speed mode once the batter voltage get's to a certain level? The older brushed version of this model (Pro Boat React) does which is nice because I can go for as long as possible and then bring it in once the speed cuts down to 20%.
It comes with a 1300mah battery AND does have the self righting button. You have to press the button (hold it) and then hit the throttle and it’ll rock back and forth. I don’t bother with it tho. I just stop, then smash the FWD throttle and it rolls over just fine
Can you huys do a side by side comparison of this boat and the UdiRc boat you did earlier in the week? Im trying to decide between what boat i want to buy

199 American isn’t cheap that’s about 260 Canadian plus shipping I’m up over 300 Canadian. I just purchased the volantex vector s it’s 3s it’s just as fast as that and I paid 190 Canadian shipped to my door with 2 extra batteries I got it at ex hobby and had it in 5 days
From someone in Australia, getting a tan is a seriously bad idea. We have low ozone, and only a few minutes can put you in hospital . We came in 1970 and I got burnt to bleeding. Since then I've always worn shirt and baseball cap In the water and lots of cream.
Were you able to recover it? Proboat has a warranty on their stuff, I'm curious how it actually sunk? I've flipped mine many times and barely gotten any water inside it.

Would you recommend the 18” or the 26” for a beginner?
A hack that I learned is that if you don't want water in your boat, get some marine grease and put it around the canopy and in the drive shaft.

Can you put a 2200 three cell smart battery in it.
It's a nice boat BUT you can get the Feilun FT012 for half the price or the Wltoys WL916 for less than half the price and have equal fun.
Maybe, but I think this one have a better water heatsink collar for the motor, and it seem from video this one have a bit more low end toque!

Yeah they have a voltage cutoff at a certain voltage the boat slows down noticeably.

Abby wasn’t rocking that all Nate… she just hit reverse and it flipped upright. No rocking required.

Water was entering thru the driveshaft tube. I doesn’t come with grease in it the tube.
