Hi. Your vids are very helpfull. I just got my first gbbr. It we m4a1 and it has feeding issues. First it was grabing more then one bb and it was peaces all over so I had to clean it after almost every mag. After 10 or so mags it stoped feeding after 1st shot. I have 4 mags and it happens with each one. Can you help?
Hey buddy! That really sucks! In australia we use gels which just mash up and don't damage parts so are kinda lucky haha. So 99 percent of double feeding issues will be nozzle arm or mag lip related. To me it sounds like both of yours are, as in one of the magazine lips was letting more than one bb go at a time when the nozzle retracted on cycle which has then led to the nozzle arm being damaged. I would have a look at each magazine and make sure you can push the first bb down and let it go without it flicking out of the magazine, and get yourself a new nozzle. Also clean the heck out of the receiver to make sure no bits of bb are wedged anywhere than can damage new parts.
@jakovmx1851 the only issue I've ever had with double feeding/not feeding was on my first gun when I had no clue what I was doing when adjusting the hop up, maybe try messing with it a bit see if it helps?
Hey man, love the video! Ive been trying to do a custom build, and it seems like this bolt carrier group and trigger assembly would be perfect for what I've got so far. How exactly does it function? Does the hammer hit that little pin on the front of trigger assembly which taps the valve on the mag? Also could you explain how the bolt carrier works in relation to the trigger assembly? I guess I'm trying to figure out what parts are hitting what values and how they function. Thanks for your time, I hope you have a wonderful day!
hey mate the little knocker/pin at the front of the trigger box is what hits the magazine valve. the bolt going back is what cocks that hammer back to let go when you pull the trigger. When you say custom build, do you mean designing a device from scratch that uses this trigger and bolt assembly? if so it is in my opinion probably the best system to work with.
@@Danny-G ok thank you I really appreciate the quick reply man! Yes, exactly with 3d printing, trying to make a custom airsoft GBB, and also trying to modify a crosman dpms (4.5mm bb) to use these parts instead of their stock parts because no one makes aftermarket parts for them, and it's a pain in the ass to get crosman to send you replacements; which don't last very long to begin with (great guns just shitty internal parts that fail-made with weak materials). I was doing some research and this M4 bolt and trigger seem to be the best one which brought me to your video. I really appreciate it. Do you recommend any sites in the US to purchase these parts from? If you don't, just a brand would be helpful. I was looking on Evike and a couple other airsoft sites, found my barrel for 6mm bbs, the trigger box, and the bolt/nozzle, but I've also seen some sites with custom CNC'd metal parts, which I would greatly prefer over plastic nozzle for longevity. Is there an all metal nozzle that goes into the bolt carrier? Again, thanks so much for your help!
@@TCM1259 That is brilliant! Ok so. All new we-tech models (this one included) as of 5ish years ago have all been re-designed ground up by some of the best engineers in the world. All their new systems are actually super gas efficient airguns as a base, that they make slight adjustments to to make them either 6mm or 4.5mm. Most of their new models are 400/500+ fps systems built for Co2 that have been tuned down for green gas and normal airsoft 300ish fps. I redesign their systems to do 7/8mm Gel Balls, which is the magazine lips, hop chamber and barrel being redesigned, and a bunch of tweaking to the overall tolerances to everything. The main company that makes CNC parts for the we-tech's is RATECH, they make an absolutely beautiful metal adjustable valve nozzle + cnc trigger group and bolt that is sort of the industry standard for a decked out we-tech. I highly recommend going either evike or kyairsoft, the only problem is getting larger amounts of RATECH, but you will have zero issues finding large amounts of the stock internals, which would be way way cheaper for prototyping!
@@Danny-G DUDE thanks so much for all the helpful info I appreciate it, I haven't been able to speak with someone in the airsoft of gel blaster community about this yet; just been researching a lot and sketching. It was all so overwhelming lmao trying to find efficient parts and well made parts, but after researching a lot of specific GBB guns designs, and seeing your video seems like RATECH and WE are great starting points! Yeah, I agree I think I'll start with the stock parts and if it works go from there since they will be cheaper, and I can always use them to prototype new designs like you mentioned and use the RA tech stuff for the ones that are dialed in. Wish you the best with your business man! Looks like you guys are doing some great work, and making some nice GBB's!
hi Danny, do you happen to know what the hammer spring wire diameter is? I'm doing a bit more research on my 3d printable GBBR model to boost the preform a bit. Thanks for the video btw it was very helpful to see the hammer and valve knocker design.
Nice to see some quality goods. With all this talk of this/ that gas Vs. electrics, why haven't any of the companies designed clockwork actions? I've done the math; It's doable but I don't have a workshop and tooling.
Lol few seconds in and I notice the bolt bounce. Is that an issue? The upper receiver part seems quite simple, the whole hopup inner and outer barrel is held only by the handguard screwed in.
Hey man little late here, but is the handguard metal? I know the lower and upper reciever is metal but I was wondering if the handguard was metal because on the non-ris version its polymer.
Hey buddy it is indeed metal. The non RIS one comes with a standard real steel spec polymer handguard similar to the car15/xm177 but thicker. The CQB version has an even nicer quality almost stainless steel feeling outer barrel that makes it heavier than the longer standard m4a1 which has a standard alloy outer barrel.
hey I'm having an issue with my We-Tech Xm177 where full auto doesn't function and only cycles once before not functioning and causing me to cock it back again. Do you have any idea what part could be causing this? It has worked in full auto in the past but stopped after a while of shooting.
that sounds like the auto sear (one at the top back) is not locking the hammer on cycle. It could also just be the normal hammer sear lock point has worn out. Tends to happen after a bit if you full auto them heaps on the stocko hammer sets. CNC hammer set time bby
Theres a chance the factory lube attracts grit and that turns lube into a polishing compound that abrades the parts into dust. If your trigger starts feeling a little weird, do this routine again.

Its a great video but butt buttttt...maybe less talk would make it much much more better...u know im stuck at one part just to hear u talk back what we might already know...
1:10:58 that is called a forward assist it helps to close the bolt if the bolt fails to close under its own power.
no its called a freedom button.
When I push that button my coconuts swell
i thought it was meant to inject another bullet into the chamber for double power!
Wouldn't you just feel like an absolute tosser trying to teach a tech?? Lol pffftt!

Great vid man. This is actually more complicated than putting together a real steel rifle as there are less parts.

yeah thats from me running higher pressure gas in a stock system, very common you need an upgraded buffer spring for big boy gases

Hey bro, just curious why u lube up all the trigger box parts like that?
mostly to protect it all from corrosion long term but i specifically try to lump it around the actual contact points

Can I do the XM177 off this vid?
you most certainly can friendo, only difference is the xm comes with OG high flow nozzle stock, all exact same internals :)
Which part of the bolt did you polish
just the underside friendo, a little bit on the sides but not too much.
Loved the vid bro❤💯 killin it!!!
