COB (Alexi Laiho) cover Vivaldi's Four Seasons Summer Theme
• Video
Alexi Laiho from Children Of Bodom (one of the greatest young guitar players in these days by the way) covers Antonio Vivaldi - The Four Seasons (Summer Theme) in a guitar lesson DVD... if you are thinking in buying it you should know that this DVD for advanced players... No basics, justs killing riffs!!!
RIP Alexi. You will be missed.
GTFOH what??
This is the face you make when you discover that almost 90% of metal musicians in Europe come from a classical or jazz background, and metal itself is mostly inspired from classical music and not Slipknot or Korn.
Like Alexi who played violin until he was 12 and found metal music. Then he switched to guitar and rest is history. Rest in peace Wildchild.
@@maxwelljeremy5659 sad way to check out 2020. I hope 2021 doesn't take more awesome people from our life's. Rest his soul
This is so true 🤷🏻♂️
True!
i’m gonna have to say though, even the guys in korn and slipknot come from jazz and love it very much, corey taylor from slipknot loves frank sinatra and classical music
Alexi has to be still one of the greatest guitar players of all time, this dude is extremely underrated
And still... He has been voted three times the best metal guitarist in the world three times...
@@ortti8397 so nine times?
sorry
@@AgeofJP oh fuck he dead
i wouldnt say hes underrated
Roope is better😊
We eat heavy metal for breakfast in Finland :)
That's why we got such bad teeth 😎
@@diceymaan Based on my experience there's nothing wrong with the Finnish teeth. Guess it's your health care system. You really need to pay a visit to England, some bad teeth for ya!
Kyllä, perkele!
@@jimtguitarist what's that? Cursing? Ay ay ay, bad boy, a really bad boy 🤨 carajo! Tienes q dejar de maldecir, tonto! 🙍
@@Marisolita_95 Perkele: Many meanings as "Fuck yeah!" when you're excited or "Damn!" When you're angry about something. So, I used the first definition of the word 'Perkele'. No bad vibes, all cool. 🤗
Roope Latvala is the other guitarist? Awesome!
Rest In Peace Alexi Laiho
I've seen him live a few times now. Guitar God is an understatement.
...and this is how European Guitarists playing their guitars...especially Finnish Guitarists. 😁
RIP Alexi. I'm so sad for this great loss.
RIP Alexi, thank you for the amazing music. You are missed.
He was a musician since he was 4, played the violin and it was his sister who got him into guitar
Fucking Scandinavian metal musicians man they produce the elite of the elite. Love to all those who miss the great Alexi
LOVE YOU REACTIONS!!! (LAIHO IS LAIHO!!!)
There is also Roope Latvala
Rip Alexi😢
RIP Alexi Laiho😪
One of the most known videos. It made me to love classical music, actually... in some point. Before that I was just respecter, and then I thought "Well, they like it, they do it, probably I have to pay more attention to this".
But the playing is sooo beautyful...
alexi was a violinist . RIP
RIP Alexi Laiho😪
Classical equals Metal!
People always watch his left hand. But mans right hand is a force to be recon with. So accurate and articulate. rip Alexi
Ah 2002 Passage To The Reaper, Alexi and Roope during the Sinergy days.
You have not seen someone slaying a classical song with a electric guitar? Oh boy you are in for a treat. Check Tina S - Moonlight Sonata cover. She is 17yo in that video and slaying the shit out of the song :D MUST SEE!
Jeff Loomis - Perpetual burn
Think they said "on two guitars"
@@waiz0231 or just listen to the original Master Jason Becker play it best, Jeff is super talented though.
R. I. P Aleksi 😢
Finally a reaction to this video. This is going back old school 🤘🏻🤘🏻
R.I.P ALEXI i know u a home now.😍😇💞

Love you and miss you so much Alexi😢 you are the greatest guitarplayer that ever existed ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fantabulous
RIP Alexi Laiho
RIP Alexi
Crazy seeing this everywhere now, man I remember being stoked having this on my zune haha
This video first available at Japanese guitarist magazine called"YOUNG GUITAR",
And I like that.\m/\m/
What year was it when you first time saw this video? I'm not quite sure but think it's recorded like 15 years ago, maybe 2005 or 2006.
Rope Latvala on the other guitar is certainly no scrub.
RIP Alexi Laiho
Definitely react to the second part of this DVD or VHS - can't remember which one this was at the time.
The second part is the song from the start, "Passage to the Reaper" - it's more of a jam between Laiho and Latvala.
Fun fact, me and a buddy of mine played a cover of this for our guitar essay back in the days, good times
WORLD BEST GITAR HERO. R.I.P Aleksi
You must see epica veesion of this music at retrospect live
Wau SuziQ, you are slowly turning to an snoring something... I caught you do that atmleast 3 times already.
Heh, Love you both. So love from Finland, and R.I.P Alexi. He had such mad talent, and it seemed such epic demons too.
It is not easy to so talented and in public eye.
Sadly Alexi passed away just a week or so ago. You should do some 'Children of Bodom' reactions. Maybe 'Kissing the Shadows', Needled 24/7, or Living Dead Beat. There are too many good ones to list here.
I think you meant Children of Bodom :)
Thank you sorry it was 5 am when I typed this up!! The original just had COB. All fixed. We said right but typed it wrong.
BODOM AFTER MIDNIGHT
Love you
Damn I was just looking around for some tunes for a mood changer, and saw this, I miss alexi, I seriously Teared up when the vid finished...
Well guys, i have one for you.
Paul Gilbert Technical Difficulties (Racer X)
You have to watch that one ❗
RIP Alexi Laiho😪
Insane
Alexi Rest in Power
COB guy’s have use some time to check reaction videos and they are planning to make video/s when they are reacting to reaction videos about they’re music😄. It might of been joke but it would be really entertaining also!
This is very incredible. All the best.
Masterpiece...
Roope Latvala is great
Patrick Rondat did it in 1996, Uli John Roth has a whole album covering Vivaldi. I think, Aeon Bridge might have covered summer but not sure.
All hail maestro Vivaldi, the first metalhead!
rip alexi laiho [*]
Rip Aleksi
You should react to Frantic Disembowelment.
Cannibal Corpse 😎🤘🏻
Metal musicians are lovers of classical music full stop. or u dont know it yet
At first it doesnt seem like it would make sense, but metal and classical have a LOT of overlap. Its why when you mix the two it works so well. Quite a few metal guitarists have classical backgrounds and pull inspiration from composers like vivaldi, wagner, and bach
And Roope Latvala....
Alexi is a god
The name of the band is Children of Bodom, not Boden!
Thank you sorry it was 5 am when I typed this up!! The original just had COB. All fixed.
@@TheWolfHunterZ oh, it's ok, it happens to me all the time! :) Bodom is the name of a lake in Finland where a series of murders happened, child murders, therefore Children of Bodom!

you forgot to activate windows :O
CHALANGE EXCEPTED ANYONE?????????? ALEXI AND 🧐RUPE ARE GODS PERIOD
guys, please react to dr. viossy moonlight sonata metal cover. Also, look at angel vivaldi and 2 other people cover this summer theme by vivaldi. Those are awesome. Another suggestion is '331erock' channel. I love Alexi Laiho. Will miss him so so so so much, he was all my childhood.
Malmsteen please
Aleksi Laiho!
You guys are musicians and you’ve never heard The Four Seasons before???
Steve Vai please
Yngwie Malmsteen is pretty much all this x100 :D You can find him doing Vivaldi, Paganini, Albioni and Bach on stage, it's absurd. He even has an album called "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra".
*Sorry....just wanted to inform you, there's a missing "n".....you meant for sure Albi-N-oni. Greetings.*
@@NicholasCorvin Oh cool, I've seen that name wrong since 2003 :D Thanks!
Yngwie has played pretty much the same song, or should I say the same solo throughout his entire career. And this comes from a fan of Yngwie's. He's very skilled technically but doesn't bother to compose a solo, seems to me that he relies on his ability to just produce 'something', meaning fretboard wanking. His latest great album was Magnum Opus, since then he hasn't made any significant albums plus he stopped practicing (bc I know how to play anyway). That's YM for ya! No doubt he was an amazing player back in the 80's, damn he was phenomenal!
@@Marisolita_95 *"Magnum Opus" was the first Yngwie --album I bought after I discovered and listened to "Vengeance", which was released, before album release, via a "Total Guitar"-Magazine-CD. What about "Alchemy" (1999) featuring the, imo, superb instrumental "Blue"? What about the 2 instrumentals, "Flamenco Diablo" and "Amadeus Quattro Valvole", from the compilation "Anthology 1994-1999"? "What about the track "Spellbound"? "What about the tracks "Into Valhalla" and "Arpeggios From Hell" from the album "Relentless"?*
@@Marisolita_95 And yet Jason Becker could literally wipe the floor with him in terms of skill and composition. Just go listen to the greatest guitar instrumental of all time Perpetual Burn.

And Roope can join, not Alexi 😔
Does her carpet match her curtains?
Better watch "Ludwig van Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata ( 3rd Movement ) Tina S Cover" Girl Rocks :)
*They're for sure very good......but Malmsteen, the maestro himself is still another level...*
Jason Becker too
Yes...he was back in the 80's. Today he's like a parody of himself. Kinda sad actually...
Malmsteen is sooo overrated. Shit is fast and technical but has zero feel
