I'm sure this brand is very good quality and probably lasts a long time, launder well, etc etc., but I would seriously never spend that much money for summer basics! You can get really good quality on these types of items for a lot less. Right now, there are a lot of influencers promoting higher quality and expensive clothing brands. While I'm not a fan of fast fashion, there is a middle ground, and in this economy, most people need to shop wisely.

I really love Frank and Eileen as a brand, but they are too expensive. It’s higher quality, but just too much for what they offer. Especially now, in this economy and hard times.

It’s great to promote ethical, small businesses that provide high quality products. In the UK many brands have reduced the quality of their products but not their prices. These items are poor quality & will not last for more than a season without looking shabby. Charity shops will refuse them as they cannot be sold on. Classic styles in high quality materials are far better in the long run. I am a fashion & textiles graduate & despise how fast fashion has created a throwaway culture that is ruining our environment. I have many items in my wardrobe that I’ve had for over a decade. I even have Guernsey fisherman’s wool jumpers that my mother bought in the early 80s & they still look new! Classic designs in high quality materials will cost less over time due to the amount of wears you have over the years. Many people are now switching to capsule wardrobe dressing in classic, quiet luxury style.

Waaaaay too expensive. A whole ensemble would cost you well over $500. There are less expensive options out there.
There's definitely lower priced options than what I've featured today, but the quality of this brand is amazing and one I will always stand behind. They have pieces that will last for years and years to come without fading, wearing out, or going out of style. xo

Same, they may last years but I am not paying $288 for a sleeveless shirt. There is quality items/Brands out there for less and yet still expensive.
I’ve found several high quality white button downs at consignment and thrift stores. There are stores that curate their stick and then there are others where you really do have to take the time to go through the racks as it can be a hodgepodge podge.

Would you travel in Europe in the Malibu set? I have looked at it a few times online as I travel long haul often but to me it still looks like sweats, especially with the raw hem. I like your travel style so just curious.
Yes, and I have, especially for long haul flights. That said, I would probably not wear them while touring once I got there. They would be my comfy hotel clothes. xo

Nothing wrong with the outfit at all, just showing ways you can look more elegant if that is what you want. There may be times you want to look and feel more sophisticated! But again, nothing wrong with tank and jean shorts. I wear it all the time!

I wish they made the chino pant in a longer inseam with a higher rise. I have a few pieces of theirs, all very nice quality! Pricey but worth it long term.
frank and eileen are way too expensive for most of us …. Rails white button down Ellis and other styles…are much nicer and much less expensive …rounded shirt bottom is less formal than Rails straight accross …. just one example
They are really so different. The Rails top is looser in a crinkly cotton. The F+ E denim button down is more structured and looks better untucked. The F+E will last longer too. It’s just really up to you and your needs/wants. Both are great!

Hi Jan! I actually never dry clean my clothing items anymore... even the dry clean only pieces! Here's the care instructions for each item that I featured from Frank & Eileen: Turn this garment inside out, machine wash on cold, and tumble dry on low.

Need some SIZING advice on the Chino Pants. Size Chart is confusing. 26" waist and approximately 112 pounds. Reviews indicate they run big. Trying to decide between 0 or 00
I'm 5'4" like Erin!
The chart is a big confusing... I'd recommend going with your normal size. I'm between a 2 and 4 or 26 in pants and I went with the 2 (I'm more towards a 2 lately) and they fit great. Wouldn't say they run big. If you're equally in between the two sizes, I'd probably go with the 0. Shorts and chinos, size 2. Shorts are WATERFORD, 4 1/2 inch inseam. A great length!! If you are taller, they will still work, but you might prefer longer.
