So emotional, love the music of Ralph, his style is old but so fresh, is like something that always is new and emotive. Is virtuoso but musical before everything. Deep and pure music...
A big hug, and big thanks from Chile !!! From a 22 years old guy.

The atmosphere he creates here is just out of this world-literally.
He's my favourite player right now.

Mastery. Sheer mastery. If only I could see him live in concert before I die.

The man is so real. The music is so authentic. I am a fan of McLaughlin, Al DeMeola, all those guys are great. But Ralph Towner - he stands apart. Alone. And Jeffrey Elliot guitars may be excellent, but The genius of Ralph Towner would come through on a Walmart guitar.

Yeah, this cat just makes musicscapes that are amazing. Forget Jazz, Folk, Classical, he just makes music. Ralph Towner and Matther Grasso are my biggest influences right now. Check out some of my videos, I'll be putting some Towner-like tunes soon.

check towner's yahoo group. there are some tabs of this piece (that are wrong, btw, but in obvious places... easy to fix). note that the group is in italian, but you can find tons of towner transcriptions on it, so worth joining.

Ok the guitar is nice, but enough with the Jeffrey Elliot sales pitches on these videos. The musicality of Towner, rather than the guitar, is doing the trick.
