@@7MinuteAETutorials in absolutes? So on and off? I now just did over a course of 10s adding hold keyframes fairly random and than the loopout expression. It works.
@@DEADLINETV You could definitely add more keyframes to randomize it.If you're going with a wiggle expression, I would set the opacity to 50% and use: wiggle(1,50) - that way it can go from 0-100 - but it can also go in-between so you'll definitely get other values. If you want ON and OFF and have it more randomized, then adding more hold keyframes is the way to go.

Sorry you had trouble following along. This technique definitely works - I use it everyday. Make sure you're typing - loopOut - with a capital O. Your first and last keyframes must have the same value, also. I hope you get it to work. If you have trouble, email me at 7minae@gmail.com and I'll get you through it.
wow this one so fast but easy to follow, tysm!
Thank you for the video. It didn't help me but it helped a lot of other people!!
Thanks so much - really useful tutorial.

Great, thanks
OMG thank you for this tutorial. You really helped me!
Love from Pakistan. 😍
U r awesome
Thanks for watching!
Great! Is there a way to do this more randomly?
You could put a wiggle expression on opacity and that would randomize it more.

@@7MinuteAETutorials That's clever tho! Thanks!
How do you make it blink sporadically and jitter?
Second that question.
Make more videos 😁
okk so what is "option clicking the opacity stopwatch" ??
right click or left click...my keyframes disappear
what is option clicking?
Hold down the the OPT (on Mac) or ALT (on PC) as you click the stopwatch. That will initiate an expression. Let me know if that makes sense.
I'm on Windows and this was helpful for me (ALT + left click).
I am getting a expression error on the loop out
type loopOut() -----Capital O

Can you shoot me over a link to the video and I'll take a look
AE says "Error"
how do I slow this down?
Spread the keyframes further apart to make the animation slower. If you mean the video itself... well, it's a quick tip :)
@@7MinuteAETutorials thank you very much
sorry man, but you're moving way too fast in this video. had to rewind like three or four times just to follow along and then it didn't work.
