You could put a wiggle expression on opacity and that would randomize it more.

@@7MinuteAETutorials in absolutes? So on and off? I now just did over a course of 10s adding hold keyframes fairly random and than the loopout expression. It works.

@@DEADLINETV You could definitely add more keyframes to randomize it.If you're going with a wiggle expression, I would set the opacity to 50% and use: wiggle(1,50) - that way it can go from 0-100 - but it can also go in-between so you'll definitely get other values. If you want ON and OFF and have it more randomized, then adding more hold keyframes is the way to go.

Hold down the the OPT (on Mac) or ALT (on PC) as you click the stopwatch. That will initiate an expression. Let me know if that makes sense.

Sorry you had trouble following along. This technique definitely works - I use it everyday. Make sure you're typing - loopOut - with a capital O. Your first and last keyframes must have the same value, also. I hope you get it to work. If you have trouble, email me at [e-mail] and I'll get you through it.
