    I like the way the letters look like they fly off when time-reversing the KFs.

    Thank you so much man ! Really helpful !
    i'm ok with videos but when i gotta get creative ideas for motion design i'm really bad at it.
    These animations are gonna be a big help to create a clear and smooth animated video.
    Explanations was clear and straight forward, wich is appreciated !
    Any chance to know the font you were using during the tut ? I kinda like it because it has these "round" lines and my fonts are way more "squar-esque" than that

      Thanks for watching! Yeah, I tend to either use Gotham Narrow or Gilroy. I believe for this tutorial, it was Gilroy.

    This video helped me a lot sir! But is it possible for me to combine the second and third one?
    Instead of the text being animated outawrds like the third effect, I want it to be like the 2nd animation where the blur is still there and letters are still randomized but the text is moving upwards.
    Thanks again!

    I was just wondering if there was anyway to set up after-effects, so key frames that you add are automatically easy ease (without needing F9) and you will have to manually change them back to linear key frames. I asked this because everybody's always hitting F9 to change to that type of key frame but why not have so you set AE to default to be like that and have keyboard shortcut or click to change it back to a regular key frame?

    • @7MinuteAETutorials
      @7MinuteAETutorials  11 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not aware of a default setting that sets keyframes at Easy Ease. That's why you see everybody always going "press F9, press F9, press F9." I agree, it would make life a lot easier. I rarely use linear keyframes so having a default eased keyframe would be amazing. Please let me know if you come across anything like that. I'll do research as well. Thanks for the question!

    What fps should your project settings be at for these animations

    • @7MinuteAETutorials
      @7MinuteAETutorials  11 месяцев назад

      You can use any FPS, but the most common are 23.976, 24, 29.97, and 30. These animations are based on keyframes, so FPS doesn't really come into play. If you animate in 30, but then switch to another FPS timeline, you could run into issues. All in all, these work with any comp settings.

    Since its been 8 months, not sure you'll see this - but any suggestions how ways to make this process more efficient if using these type of text effects for captions on videos? Maybe using presets? Thank you!

    • @7MinuteAETutorials
      @7MinuteAETutorials  3 месяца назад

      Hi! I'm glad to see this video is still being watched after 8 months, so thanks for that! You can download the project and animatino presets for this tutorial, and you can make your own custom text animation using Text Animators as presets.Select the Animator(s) used and go to Animation / Save Animation Preset and save this to your User Presets (make sure you don't select the entire Text folder or you'll also be saving the original text). When you do subtitles, type your text and then go to Effects and Presets and, with your text layer selected, double-click the preset you saved. Let me know if this works for you!

    What is The font that you used for this video?

    Thanks for putting out the video; however, I immediately couldn't follow the first effect because you assumed people knew how to access the text preset effects. It would be best not to assume and to let people know how to find the things you are using, especially because those presets are not located to left like you had them by default.

      Typewriter is in Effects and Presets... all of them are.

      This tutorial is about CREATING text presets. The first one uses Typewriter, which is the most basic and common one. It's right there in Effects and Presets with all the other effects.

    Yes, but newbies like me didn’t know where to find those presets. Yours is off to the left. And, going to help and typing in typewriter didn’t help to locate it. You should give tutorials with the default workspace, or tell users where to find things in the default setup. It would make the tutorial more efficient for beginners.

      There's no way to possibly create a tutorial that will appeal to every motion graphic designer at every level and with every possible layout setup. My tutorials tend to be pretty basic. If you can't find a preset in Effects and Preset, I'm not really sure what to say. If you keep watching the tutorial, you'll learn quite a bit. I'm really not sure what to say - check out other tutorials, most of them are much more advanced and assume viewers know much more than what I show. I don't use third party plug-ins, and I walk you through every step of the way, but if you're not going to watch my content because you don't know where presets are located, I'm not sure how much help I can be. I do appreciate your time and the comment. I hope I haven't scared you off. If you're looking to learn After Effects, tutorials are the quickest and easiest way. You may not have known where "typewriter" was, but now you do - it's in the Effects and Presets panel along with ALL other effects. Check out the rest of the tutorial, I'm sure you'll learn much more.

      It’s literally top right, reset your windows or Google where to find presets u absolute drooler. Do you have a caretaker to help you put your pants on?

    • @zarinahsguides4686
      @zarinahsguides4686 3 месяца назад

      Listen troll, I clearly figured it out, but the point is I shouldn't have to Google how to find presets from a tutorial teaching something that involves using presets.
