Enough time to still fail with the decent basis that is layed out at the moment. But it´s not the first time, a Battlefield is marketed as back to the roots. Would be great if most players get used to just buy a game at least one month after launch. Surely will get hard to overcome the fomo, but if sort of everyone of your mates start a certain amount of time later, this might at least sustain the feeling of a freshly released game. Just a dream. Would penalize heavily if games get released a certain way. Would be a good practice :)
I can't remember the last time "Good News" about BF or CoD actually ended up being good These franchises have perfected making us THINK the next product will be fantastic Just remember, what any CEO or marketing tells you about the game, is designed to make it look good
Bf3 & 4 had a thriving core community due to having a lobby with dedicated servers of which we could rent and customise for all to enjoy. .. them were the days...
The specialists system was the whole reason why i didn't buy 2048 and Weapon attachment system of BF5. Same with R6 Siege and ive been fan of R6 since the first game in the 90s.
This is probably the best news I've heard since a long time, ever since BF3/4 I've been looking for something that scratches that itch. They needed to go back to modern era. All of these changes going back to the roots, sound fantastic but let's be real here: - Pre-orders - 'early Access' - Aggressive monetization - Shiet DLCs - More MTX All of those issues got worse since BF3/4, and I'm afraid to see what type of tomfoolery EA/Dice will cook up in those aforementioned categories to ruin it.
People need to spread the news that preordering is killing the industry. Companies are getting their money back well before the game drops and it gives no incentive for AAA devs to deliver a decent product.
Remember lads and lasses, talk is talk. They can glaze and jerk us off with promises on top of promises. Hey, remember when battlefield 2042 was supposed to be this "love letter" to the fans. I for one will not believe a word their PR machine shits out or even the word of Vince Zampella, after all he is in the business of making and selling video games, ofcourse he wants the hype cycle to start early and with massive amount of fire underneath it. Again, Remember 2042 guys. Wait for hands on first impressions, do NOT pre-order. And, most importantly question everything they say, live gameplay or it didn't happen.
Battlefield one was the peak. Bf3 was too long ago and bfbc2 was console focused and bf4 was a disaster at launch. BF1 was the one and only battlefield game with universal acclaim at launch and post-launch. I get that people don't want a world war 1 game again so they can't just make another version of bf1, but if they launch a game at the bf1 level but with a bf4 skin it'll slap
Eh, I wouldn’t say BF1 was the peak. It was good, but it focused a lot on the “atmosphere” while letting some of the gameplay fall flat. Some elements of BF1 coming across to the new BF game won’t be the worst though.
Its going to suck - Its going to be half baked - half finished - promising a 'live service' that only makes content drops every 4 months with massive grinds trying to get you to spend as much of your time possible playing it so that there is a statistically higher chance you will buy the shitty clown skins.
Being someone who has averaged 2500 hrs per title in every BF game since BF2 I would hard pass and play Delta Force instead. DICE at least recent DICE has been very anti-consumer. Please don't waste your money on BF.
One like = One less preorder
Ho damn, public utility like
i have already preorder
Don't fall for it, don't preorder, make them finish the game. THEY DO THIS EVERYTIME!

Couldn’t agree more. Stay vigilant. Don’t preorder. Watch from the sidelines until we get hands on.

I hope it goes back to its original basics and many more.
BF3 maps
BF4 gameplay
BF1 atmosphere
BFBC2 humour
= The ideal BF 😊
Yessir. This all the way.
I felt burned by the last two Battlefield games I purchased... I'm out

Yeah the concept here sounds good - now it’s just going to come down to seeing if there are any skeletons in the closet that can ruin it.
I dont trust EA or DICE in the slightest. I wont believe a single thing they say until its playable and we can see it with our own eyes
Yes, and it is called Delta Force and will be out soon❤
Wow a modern BF game that isn't going to suck, I guess it takes 10 years to think of doing that again. Plenty of time to F**k this up lol

The Finals set the bar for destruction. Hopefully new Dice can compete. 🙏
also battlebit and fortnite
"A love letter to the fans" 💀😑 Never forget that..
Never forget
Hey Cami, good to see you around since the PS2 days. Ever though about doing any content on The Finals?
Lucky for me I was able to get a refund through Steam for 2042. I'll never forget that initial release.. what a disaster!
As we shouldn’t mate. That release needs to be held to account for as long as BF keeps pumping out games.
Unfortunately Battlefield can get going and then drop the ball at any time, big time. I'll wait to see what they actually come out with.
What Is the game In the background?
10 minute video about a single picture of a concept art and an small announcement.
Imagine having a conversation about something - believe it or not, sometimes they last longer than 60 seconds :)
hopefully the destruction rivals battlebit, the finals and fortnite.
What is the name of the music please?

I love it when you talk dirty to us
This 100%. We still gotta be careful here - it’s a good start, but actions speak far louder than words.
So what is he playing in this video 👀 I want to play it too
think its battlebit, fan made battlefield clone, free on steam

Facts.
Stop gaslighting us. Everyone complained about BF1 weapons and loot boxes.

What game is he playing on the screen
Battlebit
@@petertone1616is it on Roblox.
I'm done with battlefield, after their last game I cannot take them seriously anymore.
I'm hoping its good but as of this moment i think battlefield is dead, i want to be wrong
