- In this Video we Unbox the Umarex HK MP5K-PDW Gen2 2024 Batch, having let my last one go summer time last year I've missed this awesome PDW and so when I saw that VFC had released a new batch for 2024 I jumped at the chance.

what an iconic weapon. throws me back to 90s action movies. glad to see companies like umarex are doing them justice with their replicas. that amount of steel used in the construction is awesome to see.
I had an email from Bespoke over the weekend saying "VFC back in stock". I've just ordered mine & a 416D V3 for my partner.
Lovely replica, bet it's lots of fun using that in CQB!
The only thing I hate is the no-click on empty mechanism though, hope they make this more realistic with a V3 in the future. Like it's such a crude mechanism, in terms of durability it surely can't have any positive effect on the feedlips/nozzle either right?
Hi there, thanks for the comment. The nozzle is internally reinforced, and the feedlips are actually metal. I will try to explain in the full review that coming soon, why is it actually ok, or should I say why I think it's ok 👍 but yes, a click no bang would still be great.
I’m waiting for a new batch of MP5 A5s
Curious what the differences are between this 2024 version because the last v2 was brilliant! Seems a bit unnecessary? Looking forward to the review! Would love VFC to make a 2024 version of the mp5a5!!
i think the different is using steel cocking tube because its the problem in previous design, it will break if you hk slap it to many time, but now its steel so it delete the previous problem, cheers
I've been using a Tokyo Marui MP7 GBB for ages, great gun but I 've just received my VFC MP7 A1 Navy from Bespoike Airsoft. How can you say they are comparable? Night & day is my opinion. I chronoed the VFC (after removing the restrictor 450 fps. Night & day, I wouyd say, it's amazing. I'm supposed to wait until my birthday to use it, never gonna happen. 😁
Hi there, Congrats on the vfc mp7 gbb, and Happy Birthday.
Wish it had the burst fire option!
Hi there, the mp5k is compatible with the fire control group of the full A5 variant, so you can always swap the two for the burst feature. It's part of the mp5 modular design. They also make the lower grip assembly with the burst feature markings.
I love this thing, I have the A5 but the lack of short mags from VFC turned me off of the PDW. Still an awesome gun though
Some short mags would be cool, but the lower amo count could prove to be a problem 😉
Leave the stock standard..it’s cool👍🏻
Very Nice!
What would be interesting to know is whether this "PDW" configuration could (with a few parts of it's possible to get them) be switched to an MP5K (i.e. blank end plate and the flush barrel)
Hi there, it certainly can be. They sell the parts nessasery from vfc.
@@MiddleAgeGamerukSo any recommended retailers you can advise are worth ordering VFC parts from (either in the UK or Asia) or are you saying you can order directly from VFC
Hi there, you can get parts from wgcshop.com or action airsoft, you can get some from sixmm.com, all three are in Hong Kong, in the uk you have firesupport and for Europe you have power air 6.
Hi! I saw your video on the VFC MP7 and decided to get one for myself :D
However the magazine included with the replica doesn't like to stay inside the rifle.
Without touching the magazine release, I can pull out the magazine with a slight force.
Have you ever came by the same issue?
Hi there, I personally have not come across the issue 🙃 it sounds very strange 🤔. First, check if the mag is actually seated in the magwell. There should not be any noticeable gap between the overstop lip on the mag and the pistol grip. Second, when you do insert the mag, do you hear and feel a tactile click locking onto the mag. Sometimes overfilling the mag prevents mags from going in all the way due to the loading nozzle, not being able to push the bbs down enough, which can lead to nozzle braking as well. If you're still having problems, then get in touch with the retailer you got it from. Sadly, some lemons do get through.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Thank you for your answer!
What I found out that, even on empty mag, the issue is still the same, and the magazine clicks into place. The only thing helping is holding up the mag-release constantly, so I guess that's where the problem is.
Does this shoot 6mm BBs or the steel ones?
Hi there, this one is for 6mm plastic bbs. They do make metal 6mm bbs that will work, but they are not site legal, sadly.
Oh cool where can I buy it?
But no steel bolt carrier, so no as close to the real thing as we can get.
