Why no grease, but rather oil, on the friction surfaces of the nozzle and its o-ring?

Where would you recommend ordering this and spare V3 magazines from? Been looking at either JKArmy or WGC shop currently but unsure whether the mags being sold at JKArmy are V2 or V3 as there isn't any description on the product page. The WE was regarded as the best pick as well as probably the most bang for buck gbbr on the market, but it looks like with the V2 they improved a lot over the V1 which was really quite bad.

Fantastic review - very in-depth with plenty of detail. I managed to pick up one of these recently (from a UK retailer as wouldn't have a clue how to correctly import one!!) and it's amazing. One question - does yours have the nozzle restrictor in it and was that the case when you did your crono-ing? Mine has the little grub screw in it with the drilled out hole and getting considerably less FPS on 0.2s even using fairly powerful gas (Ultrair Players' choice) - just as an experiment I removed it and did it again and got more but also the action then felt rather sluggish when doing mag dumps (which is extremely fun with this gun).

Great review! I will say though that Bing is the only person so far who has broken their cocking handle support tube, I've personally been very harsh with mine since I bought a spare and there's no sign at all of it having any issue so far, and others have had the same experience. Don't count the A5 out completely just because the tube isn't steel :)

Does anybody get the double feeding issues when using tm mags for this GM HK416? I’m having trouble with it, the GM mag works well but the TM is nightmare.

If you want more realistic gbbr, get VFC. IF you don't care about that, get MWS toygun.

Hey Mike, Curious if the white slide material is like the TM G17.5 (slightly tougher plastic slide), or is it the same like the older Black TM D.O.R? Was wondering if anyone knows TM is permanently upgrading their plastic slide material on the newer pistol releases, like the new White D.O.R pistol, for that TM plastic slide longevity, know what I mean? 🤔

Hi there! I really want an AK for a next replica. But there's a big downside for me on Tokyo Marui... in my country we have a 400FPS (1.5J) limit. So, TM stuff is really underpowered here. This puts me in a considerable disadvantage regarding range and BB's speed. In a medium-range engagement, strafing at, let's say, 30 meters, people can easily dodge a under 300FPS flying BB. Moreover, here 99% are AEG users, which is already a big advantage over my GBBR's. That being said, I wonder if this AKX would be a good primary for me, in your opinion. I would be really happy if I could reach at least 350FPS with a .20, witch would render about 300FPS on .28's -- Oh, almost forgot.. here in my city we NEVER get below 25ºC over the whole year, nor even at night. So, propane here is always on good pressure.

I had the same issue with Airsmiths wanted a MTW rang then to make sure they had stock then upped the price by £60.

I started using those bbs on random stuff like aluminum and they do more damage than high end bbs. I dont get how it's going to mess up your gun. It goes through a metal tube theres no electronics to mess up even if there was i think it'd be fine

I dont care what anybody says gbbr was meant to be as realistic as it gets. Reliability of course you want that but if you go by tokyo maruis thinking an aeg is or hpa is the best gbbr. Cause Reliability

Already got the M18 and M17 with extra magazines, saving up for the X-Carry ... just one detail ... The takedown leaver has a small dent on the back that goes in the frame and on an actual frame that takedown lever is pushed almost to the 8 o'clock position compaered to the 6 o'clock position on the airsoft P320 line

the grip is so nice to grip, much better than the stock/oem one, but you should have get the steel slide one, much better still when compared with the original steel slide, heavier too. and the internal barrel is also a bit longer too.
