I was absolutely disgusted when I read this story. I was hoping it was a nasty rumor. But the fact that the Lawyer, John Laurantis, and NCIS have corroborated this horrific story is disheartening. Smh
His daughter Stephanie and Paul Lavasque knew all about this aswell..WWE is the most disgusting place on the planet.

I honestly don't know what's more horrific - the assault itself or the fact that Ashley was left behind in Kuwait after the assault happened. I'm so sorry this happened to her, I really liked her when she was in WWE.

And when the 19 year old Rene Dupree tried to ask Management for help they laughed at him. There is another instance in which former WWE wrestler Chad Wicks was bullied, beaten and stripped naked after getting hazed overseas by wrestlers like Chris Benoit and JBL other wrestlers of the Smackdown lockerroom. Apparently NCIS (and I’m not referring to the show obviously) did an investigation into the rape in 2019 , which would suggest that the Navy wasn’t even made aware of it until after Ashley’s death. The investigation was closed in 2020. May have to submit a FOIA request to find out what became of it

Just a quick post so I don’t feel like I have to reply to separate comments- I am currently in a deep state of grief as I am mourning the loss of my big brother. He passed away just this past week. Grieving his loss while reliving the pain of Ashley’s life & death has left me sleep deprived & more emotional than usual. I tried my best to push thru the pain to tell Ashley’s story in order to help put an end to things like this from continuing to happen over and over. There is no money in this for me and I hate the camera. And for the love of god- I was in a terrible car accident as a teen which required 160 in my lip. The older I get the more the scar tissue appears. That’s all I got for now. Much love xoxo

You did great! Ashley deserves justice. So sorry for your loss. I was a big fan of hers when I was growing up and when I heard the news of her passing away it broke my heart. It's very sad that you had to go through all of this but you did great standing up for Ashley and I truly believe she is watching over you with a smile on her face. Stay strong!

A whole lot of odd WWE wrestler 'suicides' and 'drug overdoses' over the decades...we all just assume the wrestler deaths are what we are told they are...but think of how convenient the timing of some of those deaths were for Vince and WWE.

First story we’ve heard mentioning her - I truly hope her, shane and hunter weren’t involved. But it’s looking less likely for her at least. And I hope that everyone responsible for these situations is removed from anything wrestling - the company, the history, all of it.

You are soooo very wrong. If i were interested in any of that I would have spoken to any of the reporters knocking at my door or contacting me via social media when she first passed. Her family had asked me not to speak to anyone. Ashley and I started writing a book in 2015. I have tried but failed to finish it. I simply cannot without her. All I can do is say what she has told me. The point which is very seemingly being lost here is- let’s stop this from repeating itself.
