I bought my 73yr old dad the Salter as he's absolutely terrible with technology and it is real simple and easy for him to use. He gets on fine with it. So I'm surprised they found it difficult to use here. The reason the Ninja cooked stuff more evenly is because of the bigger drawers so stuff has more space to cook things evenly. With the Salter you need to shake the wedges and chips every 5 minutes or so and they come out evenly cooked. 😊

I have a ninja cooker and I love it. Saves time, money and cooks beautifully. There are deals to get occasionally so look around for a good price. The deciding factor for me was the quality of the pans which are ceramic. The cheaper air fryer pans use a thin non stick coating that I find wears off after a few months and doesn’t clean very well. Also, the Ninja is beautifully designed and made and easy to use with lots of cooking options.

I've reverted to George Foreman & looking at pressure cooker ... mine is dinky & is a pain to clean (£60 Tower 8"), plus I have oven with loads of credit. Only cook occasionally
