Looks good on the box, but fails badly in practice. First items cooked came out underdone even at longer than the advised timings. Placed two thermometers (to confirm temperatures accurately). Both read 155/154 when fryer set on 200 degrees C. Ran both sections for 12 mins. No change. To be returned this afternoon.
Very simple to use after watching the video twice and operating the air fryer at the same time. Try different ways, eg baked potatoes I put cut in top, brushed with oil. Sprinkled with salt, pepper, and parsley - best ever on eating. Very very easy
Thanks for this information video,we bought one today from our local Sainsbury's on line argos in store for £110 .00 plus 110 points with the Sainsbury's loyalty card. Have not tried it out as yet cleaned it inside and out,and it needs to run empty for about 10 miutes,I might give it 15 minutes. My last one was from Lidl the single silvercrest one which was half the price. However we needed a dual drawer one.
Why is there paper in the basket that doesn't come out. Why is it there. I can't find any explanation for why it's there. It seems flammable but can't be easily removed.
Have you found that it smells a bit toxic/chemically because it's new? I purchased once of these last night I have cleaned it and ran it a few times empty as advised. However when I used it today the chips tasted soo bad as if they were laced with chemicals
We could smell that on the first use and saw a little smoke too, which seems pretty normal with new appliances, but it didn’t happen when we cooked in it and we have had no problems with our food at all. If you have run it a few times and washed out the trays it should be fine. Sorry we can’t be of more help.
I recently bought the Aldi Ambiano Dual from Aldi. I ran it a couple of times at 200 Deg for 5 mins to burn off the manufacturing oils the chemical smell was still off-putting, however I put some white vinegar and lemon juice in oven proof ramekins one in each drawer at 200 Deg for 5 mins, no chemical smells.
Ours doesn’t make any rattling sounds so you might have a faulty one. I wonder if you have a loose fitting or badly fitting drawer? Lidl are very good at returns and exchanging faulty items. Hope you can get it sorted. This is a great appliance….as long as it’s working properly. 🤞🏼
Still working great, Having reviewed quite a number of air fryers, We have this piece of advice, large family I would definitely get a large single basket, for smaller prep the dual basket makes sense as you can do 2 different things what it can't do is enough of a portion for a family of four - Hope this helps
Yes to both! Everything cooks at a slightly lower temp and is done in less time than in our main oven. This air fryer gets up to temp in a couple of minutes whereas it takes around 8 minutes for my main oven to reach the set temp.
Just got mine from Argos & ive just noticed that tthe sir fryer is preset to 210deg. My current airfryer lets me drop the temp for the airfryer setting for chips etc. Before I send this back please convince me why i shouldnt.
Have one of these units and just starting to use it while our kitchen is being refurbished. One question that is mentioned in the manual but not explained: do you need to preheat the air fryer and if so, for how long? Thanks
Very useful in your situation. We use ours quite a lot and it’s much more efficient than our big oven. Some say to preheat for 3-5 mins at the temp you will be cooking at. We don’t bother pre heating and it cooks fine. Hope this helps.
Nice Unit. I'm thinking about getting one mee'self. Robert Dyas usually have GOOD OFFERS as well as availability. SALTER is a Terrific Brand, too ... with a recognised name in reliability. Middle of Lidl is becoming a bit of a Joke. They advertise products, but don't seem to have them in stock when you need them. Very annoying and terribly frustrating an' all.
Another great review 👍🥰 I’m becoming an Air Fryer Wizard now I have one at work, I’ve put so much weight on 🫢 which I don’t understand as they are supposed to make thing Healthy 🤣 Loved the video as we always do, enjoy the weekend ❤️xx

For anyone who owns this air fryer is there a way to turn off only one side without turning the entire unit off?
If you just use one side the other side doesn’t run at all. Just press the number of the side you wish to use. Hope this helps.
I have recently bought one and it makes a rattling noise when being used. Any idea how to fix it

Do you need to preheat before putting food in?
You could preheat for a few minutes but I don’t usually bother and it gets up to temp quite quickly 😊
Can you turn off the beeping sound? Just listennng to this is driving the dog crackers..
Awe, that's a shame. No, the beep can't be silenced unfortunately.
What is the manual one for like what does it do? For example Ik it doesn’t fry so what does It do?
It circulates the hot air around the cooking basket and cooks quickly and evenly, similar to a fan oven.
And how is it now?

@@Mandyglen thank you, that advise helps. 👍 P.S. have you actually saved time and money or is it not noticeable? Last question lol.

I'm thinking the same, I can't change it for love nor money 😢
Maybe it's faulty. I would return it for an exchange or refund.
You got into manual button if you want the airfry mode in a different tempreture. It's a fan piece of kit, just bought one.Hope it helps.
double air fryer looks a good idea cool review
*left a like👍Au💯full view🥸*
Stopped working after 6 month 😢 1 draw works only
Oh that's a shame. If you have the receipt you should return it for exchange / refund. We use ours quite a lot and it still works great thankfully.
What is the model number of this unit.
The model number is EK4750BLKLDL

Wouldnt buy any of that foreign made Dyson shite..
Can u cook a whole chicken in one of the drawers?
Yes, as long as it fits. Anything that you cook in an oven can be done in here.
@@Mandyglen what size chicken would fit in one drawer? 1.5kg or 2kg maybe? Sorry I'm new to air fryers but very keen to try it out.

Healthier way of cooking doesn’t make it healthy if it’s isn’t healthy in first place, better than in oil etc
