He is simply the greatest folk rocker who ever lived. No one holds a candle to Al and what makes him so adorable is that he's one of the most humble blokes you could ever meet. He always champions others over himself but secretly he knows he's the best at what he does. I love Last Days. It's becoming ever more crucial in this Orwellian Nightmare we're all living in.
This was in Antwerp, Belgium with the Flanders Philharmonic. We played three nights and they recorded them all, making a compilation into one show. It was shown on TV over there but I don't think it has ever been commercially available.
I saw this same tour in Canada, Ottawa at a club called Barrymores with my Dad. It was the only concert we ever went to together. This is still my all time favourite album from Al. This brings back so many memories. Thank you for posting.
Saw Al and company several times over the years. Free concert in the park in Thousand Oaks, CA circa '88, then several times in Seattle. That's the great Dave Camp blowin' down the house w/that sax and Robin Lamble on bass. Peter White used to play guitar in the band too. Met Al at each show and a more regular guy you could not ask for. Super down to earth and great performer. The guy ahead of me in the meet 'n greet line asked Al "when are you coming back" and Al kind of laughed and said "I just got here!"
DOBRANOC ! Widzisz światło oświetlające Całą drogę do Chinatown Widzisz je świecące dokoła Rozbłyskujące wszędzie
Anyone an idea where the concert was? Looks professionaly - I was in Germany 1988 during his tour in two concerts, but None of them was with orchestra. Is there a DVD one can buy?
Well done. But the guitar solos on this song from Uncorked is far better. The sax is a nice touch. I agree that it is a shame so many have not experienced Al Stewart. But a greater shame that many do not know Jesus.
No one better than Al Stewart

Very True RushShukla. With due respects, I would place him above even Dylan.
Al is the best relatively unknown singer/songwriter in a generation.
The only regret I have in life is never having the opportunity to see Al Stewart performing live. He's amazing.

THANK YOU Stephen Recker!
Stephen Recker, since writing this 4 years ago has the recording come to light? I know Al's fans would love to see the entire show!
is there a video i can buy?

Al is the most under rated master of historical lyrics of the last days of the century !
Boy, I love Al. One of the best singers and songwriters I have come across.
Sudhir Narasimhan Sure you have!💯👍
Absolutely !! Al is in a category all of his own . Love the fact he writes great lyrics on historical events .
