The Arkham P.I. and the Escaped Patient | ASMR

- You find yourself in the office of Keith Hollister, a Private Investigator based in Arkham Massachusetts, who is working on a case involving Arkham Sanitarium, the very same place from which you and many others have recently escaped.
Finally got around to this idea which is partially based on viewer suggestion from a couple years back. I will be revisiting this theme periodically in various forms either as this same character/storyline or as a parody of the private detective trope. As with all of my characters, Keith Hollister is also a fictional creation and any relation to anyone in real life with the same name is purely coincidental.

If you are new to "ASMR" and/or my channel, welcome aboard and thanks for dropping by! The majority of videos I create, often in an unorthodox manner, are meant to help you relax, sleep, hopefully experience ASMR, and any other use that might help you find some peace of mind, concentrate, study, decompress, etc.
What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's just a non-scientific, made-up term that a layperson came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasant tingling sensation felt in various parts of the body (head, scalp, back, legs, etc.) in response to various visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles". However, the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming, comforting and soothing experience for people beyond ASMR purposes. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy these videos.
I experienced ASMR all throughout my life but no longer do as of a couple years ago. However, I still enjoy the hell out of creating these videos for anyone else that still experiences it or is just looking to relax, sleep, study, etc.

Theory time!
The question mark is Ephemeral Rift himself (the mysterious creator of this channel and the one that controls the characters) None of the characters know they are being controlled yet they know something is behind the scenes.
The essence extraction that the workers of Arkham sanitarium do is to fuel the creative mind of E.R, and the essence itself is the relaxation and joy of the viewers of these videos which in turn inspires E.R. to make more videos.
Finally, the participants of these interviews, essence extractions, patients etc are the commenters who provide valuable data for future experiments and videos.

Josh Kilner the universe as a whole had technically been built we know major players, locations common themes and mechanics. were more into him creatting arcs. This specfic one is revolved around an escaped patient.

The building isn't actually capable of movement like a creature. It's a building mate. But, it has a consciousness. This consciousness is capable of exerting influence on people nearby.

This is one of the most meta entries yet! Also has some good humor, which I was hoping for from ER. The Entity may very well be a collective delusion that only exists because the people of Arkham believe it does. It could also be completely benign or benevolent, for an interesting twist. We'll have to see, or maybe we never truly will; that'd be how Lovecraft usually did things.

Plot twist: The entity is just patient 4192, we don’t know much about him other than that his ears are available in the body modification center so we know he isn’t fully human. It would tie the entire thing together and create an interesting reference to previous videos
