Congratulations on your decision to move to another state! Moving to a new place can be an exciting and daunting experience, but it can be made much easier with a few tips. First, make sure to research the state you are moving to and the city you plan to live in. Knowing the cost of living, the job market, and the local culture can help you make an informed decision. Second, create a detailed budget and timeline of your move. Consider factors such as rent, transportation, and utilities when making these plans. Third, create a packing plan. Make sure to carefully organize your items so that you can easily find what you need in your new home. Fourth, create a plan to transport your items. You can either move them yourself or hire a moving company to do it. Finally, take some time to get to know your new city. Explore the area and get to know the locals so that you can settle in quickly. Good luck with your move!

I have moved before with only the money for my apartment and it still went really well. If you want to move, do it and don’t let anything hold you back ❤
I am prepping for my third solo state to state move. My adventure started with me moving from Philadelphia to Phoenix, and then to here, SoCal. In late February/March of 2024, I am headed to Vegas. The tips that I would add to your list is purchasing a lovely journal/notebook that is solely dedicated to your upcoming move. This time I selected an over sized hardback journal, because the cover keeps me motivated and inspired. I keep all of my notes and deep dives extremely organized in sections that I labeled and tabbed. While doing your deep dive, I would contact an insurance agent in the considered area and request a quote for your car, and the internet/cable provider. I also ask the apartment agent the costs of their monthly utilities. This will help with drafting a realistic budget. Also, Google your favorite stores in the area for products you just can,t live without, or you may require an Amazon Prime membership. Having things shipped may be cheaper than the gas to drive. This time around, RUclips apartment tours have been of immense value. Wishing anyone with the desire to relocate much good fortune. You only need laser focus on your end goal and the drive to make it happen. 🌟✨💫
Update: I actually moved early ~ November 30, 2023. My journal has and remains of great value to me. The physical part of the move was a bit stressful, as it included a huge declutter. I moved from SoCal here to Vegas, and I love it. Every part of my prep was done via internet, including selecting my apartment . I cannot stress enough, how important the internet can be in assisting you. Much love and success to you.
@@Gypsyrose17good decision. I’m next. There is no future in SoCal unless your job pays $$$$$$$$$$
@@Gypsyrose17 I’m seriously thinking about moving to Vegas ,. What area would you say is extremely nice and I’m stuck on the moving process as far as moving fits or get a job first
I started watching your videos about 2 years ago while doing my research on Dallas before i moved down here. Your videos helped to inspire me and motivate me to make my move. Drove all the way from Washington dc to dallas within 23 1/2 hours with no help. Thanks for the video KB
Hi Mutha! So how is it there in Dallas Texas? Share your story and pull out some advice. and etc.

I’m glad u back boo ❤
Thanks honey!!! ♥️♥️
This is the information I needed. I was wondering how you get a new place without a job in the town you want to move to.
Yes it;s super simple, they just need proof you work. at the time of applying. so just make sure you apply 1st before resigning.
Thank you
Thank you!!! I needed this video!!!
your very welcome!!! ❤
Crazy i stumbled across this video as I start my research to move out of Las Vegas 😂. This was great, thank you so much❤
What are some good areas to move in Vegas ( townhomes , apt )
Henderson, Spring Valley, The lakes, Centennial, are really great areas. I moved to dallas from henderson the cost of living has gone up quite a bit. check out Solevita, The Bristol and Sunset winds. not sure what the cost looks like now but good luck! ❤
@@channingbaker79 Henderson is my go to
Thank you .. I will look into all those but I definitely was heading towards Henderson
Thank you this is so helpful 🎉
Great video✨✨
Thank you 🤗
You're welcome💛
My question would be, I know apartments want you to make at least 3x the rent in order to be considered. What I make at my job here in the Midwest right now is a liveable wage and gets me a pretty decent living here (legit $775/mo for a 2BR in a good area here and it's NOT income restricted!). However, in Dallas, my current salary would prob be considered well below the poverty line. If I use my current paystub to try to secure an apartment there, will the fact that I don't make 3x THAT kinda rent 😳 keep me from being able to secure an apartment out there until I find a job there making way more? 🤔
honestly it could! I would try & secure a job 1st.
Good question. Were you able to find something and move?
Same experience for me here in pennsylvania moving to Maryland. I have had to turn now job offer’s because I simply could not find housing I could afford as a single adult. I have 2 degrees and been working in my field for 20 years. It’s the 3 to 4 times your salary is what gets ya! 😢
Love this! I’m interested in moving in the same cities you were looking at so I would love to know what made you choose Dallas over Vegas LA and Miami.
I would assume that Dallas, TX is more laid, more about settling down, more safer, and being career focused.
❤❤❤
🥂♥️♥️
just now finding this video i am trying to move DFW to work at the airport i am scared nervous but i know i need to make this jump into my aviation career. i just need help with finding apartments in Fort worth any relators you may know? these tips have helped me. i feel like i dont need much to plan just go and figure things out as i get there and just have enough for the spot. everything else come later
