Definitely a difference between a empty spacebar and silicone spacebar, I like this silicone methods rather than the random piece of foam trash everyone else does. p.s Do not use Austin Chen Faces in any of your videos, too many zoomer tubers are using that lofi hipster noise. Forge your own style, that smooth jazz in the beginning was a nice change of pace and i am not even a fan of jazz.
I’m sorry if I missed it, how much silicone did you end up using? One suggestion, just use one cup: place cup on scale, zero it, add part A, zero scale, add part B, then mix. I work with epoxy quite a bit and this was better and easier way to mix ingredients by mass. I have the same keyboard and run into the same issue you did but with high density foam. The lower part of the keyboard is really shallow. If any board needed silicone, I would say it’s this board. It sounds fine when finished but I find the case rather thin and hollow on the bottom.
You didn't miss it, i don't think i had a shot in there that showed the exact amount in grams. If my memory serves me correctly, i poured around 80 grams each of part A and B, mixed them, and still had a bit of leftover the second time around. This is why i decided to start pouring it in caps like the spacebar lol. In the part of the video where i try the pour for a second time, the small piece of wood that i put under the board isn't actually leveling it, but rather making it un-level on purpose so that the majority of the silicone flows toward the back of the case where it isn't nearly as shallow. I hope this makes sense!
Love it! I don't like to use foam becuase the foam just fly around and feel like it didn't fit the bottom perfectly. Defineity will try silicone mod soon!
the board was actually perfectly level, but the bottom part of the case is so shallow that it's super easy to overfill. The second time around when i put the small piece of wood under the case, i was actually giving the board a backward tilt on purpose so that the silicone flows toward the thicker parts of the case
thanks for the guide, i did this to my lk67 and it sounds great

I also prefer the silicone over the foam tbh, it just looks a lot cleaner and it sounds good too. Thanks for your thoughts on the music!
not really noticeable except on spacebar
Very cool, love the chill vibes!
thanks so much!

Great video!
Did you end up keeping the silicone? Would you recommend it?
wonderful , thank you !
I was wondering maybe It's worth it to put like a brass plate in under the silicone before you pour
Why u dont take one of these cups?^^
How much did you used? Also what weight would you recommend (total weight) ?
Dankpods soundtest music
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH music remembers me of DankPods
so true
how much should both the silicone plan a and b weigh?
barely noticable tbh, spacebar sound good though
Doesn't sound like that much of a difference, and still annoyingly loud to my ears...as far as can be said based on a recording.
you didnt level your board...

No difference 😂 only space bar work better with silicone
