Hi - I don't see the Qualt tab when I'm in layout screen. I have installed it. Is it 3.0 compatable?

      Hi Joseph,
First of all, thank you for purchasing the addon and supporting the development!
Smart weathering is compatible with Blender 3.0 (we use it with this version).
The Qualt tab will appear only on the "Shader Editor" workspace.
Please check the User Guide link you will find in the item's description on Blender Market.
If you need to know more contact us at qualt.store@hotmail.com
      Regards, saludos

@@Tinquify Thanks for the speedy reply. I did check the shader workspace, did not spot it. But I'll check user guide. Thanks. Also, does it only work with cycles?

@@josephvanwyk2088 Make sure you enabled the add-on after the installation. We have a video that shows how to install it. And yes, it does only work with Cycles. You will have a detailed explanation why it is like this in the FAQ of the User Guide.

Just downloaded this and cant seems to get it working. It only turns my object blue. I'm pretty new to blender so I know it's something I'm doing on my end. Any tips?

Hi! Thank you for getting Smart Weathering. Regarding the issue you commented, that's because Smart Weathering works only using Cycles, and shaders with Smart Weathering applied will use a simple plain color material ("ID color") to be visualized in the viewport's "LookDev" (material preview) mode or when using Eevee. In order to see the effects, ensure you are using Cycles as the render engine and switching the viewport to "Render" mode. Please check out our User Guide and other Video tutorials on our channel! You can find links to them in the description of this video. Also, feel free to send us an email to qualt.store@outlook.com for further indications. Hope this helps. All the best!

    I will be honest:
Great shader! But there's no real need for this to be a standalone Addon at all.
Regardless, it's a great simple tool.

Thank you! Regarding the add-on part of Smart Weathering, in this version, it aims to give you some utility tools to easily add, copy and paste, and remove Smart weathering from your shaders. But yes, you can still use the node group alone of course! In future versions we hope to bring more functions to it, so any feedback of what it could be good to add will be welcomed. We have a feedback form in our main link just in case :) allmylinks.com/qualt
