- In this video I install a custom DIY Accent Wall.
Overall this was one of the easier projects I have completed recently. After my wife found this idea on Pinterest we came up with our plan. For our accent wall design we used MDF trim in a chevron pattern. All angled boards were installed at a 30 degree angle. Only a few tools are needed for this project including a miter saw, air nailer, paint bush & rollers, tape measure, level, nail punch, and some other small things.
The major part of this project that I am proud of is the fact that it will be removable with very minor fixes to the wall. This is awesome just in case this is no longer a cool thing to do in the future.
I hope you enjoyed the video, please consider subscribing to see my updates and future projects.

You the goat fosho teach!!
Thanks!!
Hey thats a great accent wall whats the color you have used on it ?
Hi What step ladder is that....looks very sturdy
What happens if you don’t nail into the studs ?? Is it durable without doing so ?
I've always wondered if those walls were removable. It looks great but it just seems so permanebt.
Hi great job, what's the name of the paint and color please
DID ANY OF THE TRIM SEPARATE OVERTIME DUE TO MOISTURE.
you didnt caulk?
What CAD program do you use?
How did you remove the texture that was on the wall?
Thanks for the video, i have a brad nailer would that be sufficient?
If your wall is pretty flat I think so or depends on how long of nails it can use. If the nails only go into the drywall the wood may pull off pretty easy
You are a great husband, your wall turned out really nice, Thanks
What program did you use to build the design?
AutoCAD but I also like Fusion 360
Alrighty 🎉🎉 😇🧒🏼
Thanks!
It looks nice, however, all I see is a huge dust catch.
Thank, wow I didnt even think of that until now... crap.
@@ThatTechTeacher427 maybe it’ll just be the reason you remember to dust the house often.
