Wow. 8 years. Your original was the first video I ever saw when Covid came around and sparked my interest for Skylanders again. Now here we are with a great video 8 years later that will spark others love for the franchise as well. Keep Crashing the Skylands😉 PS. I still really enjoy smash hit but will admit he’s not the best.
Honestly, I love fire krakens moveset and I remember playing with astroblast for the first time he carried my superchargers playthroughs and kept me playing it
A fair analysis by Crash ! I do love Zoo Lou though, the trick to him is to interleave all of his attacks: 1) throw a wolf at an enemy causing it to stagger, 2) jump off the boar, which on its own (on Boar path) does great knock-back, and 3) throw birds at anything left standing, and repeat !
A little sad that Tuff luck and Knight Mare were in this list and not head rush but whatever. I mostly agree with your points but a bunch of these guys wouldn’t be in my list.
Bad Juju is so, so misunderstood. I could go on and on about how Bad Jujus move set does make sense and is very very strategic but I won’t. I respect your opinion but I think Bad Juju, despite her name, isn’t bad.
I can relate on Eruptor and Super Shot Stealth Elf, but I love Smash Hit. It took some used to, but learning to change and mix the playstyles felt so rewarding for me. But it's absolutely a matter of preference at the end. Different opinions lead to interesting discussions
The problem with Sprocket is that she's got the kit and health of an offensive support character in a mostly single player beat 'em up. She's all about securing a specific area with her mines and turrets, when more often than not, your goal is to move forward through the level, blasting through enemies on the way there. Sprocket is not built to go in guns a'blazing, her health is too low, and her damage is more passive than aggressive. I bet that she would play much better in situations like various arena battles and Kaos Doom Challenge where the sentries and mines could lock down an objective like a no-enemy zone, the cake/fruit tower, the mystery box of doom, you get the idea. I think she would also work better in two player mode, where someone else can tank the hits for her, like a giant, so that her low health won't be as much of a problem while she sets up her "zone" for the other player to fall back to if they need to.
I got into Skylanders with my Son during COVID. My 3rd grader just loves the game. It's hard to believe a decade later how fresh and relevant the game still is for kids and for their parents. So much fun to play all the titles. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I think I am the only living and breathing person that thinks that Sprocket is one of the best Tech Skylanders, I really do enjoy playing as her because it feel like i am using the engineer from Team Fortress 2 in a beat em up game. She also helped me with an arena I did in blind run in hard difficultu because I find it so fun to study the environment around you to find the best place to use your turrets and Bettys to destroy enemies.
Ok.. Hear me out.. I understand why you don't like Eruptor.. but believe me.. I used to hate him for years just like everyone else.. until I gave him another chance. I decided to reset him, and put him on his bottom eruption path, and to my surprise after I did that.. he actually become one of my favorites. Trust me when I say that he is really good/fun on his bottom path, and I am not joking. Crash/other Portal Masters! give him another chance like I did because his top lava lob path is what makes him a bad Skylander. Like I said before.. take it from a guy who used to hate him for years just like everyone else. Fantastic video Crash👍

Hi Crash, I've been a long time Skylanders fan, and I remember all the good times growing up with every game! I got to say your least favorite skylanders list is pretty much mine too, when I saw Bad Juju, and Smash Hit I was literally screaming "THANK YOU" while watching the video! I do like Astroblast and Knightmare but not as much as Chop Chop, Swarm, Ninjini, all the giants, Free Ranger, Night Shift, Stink Bomb, Blast Zone, Trigger Happy, Jet-Vac, Pop Fizz, Chill, Terrafin, Stealth Elf, Ignitor, Camo, Slam Bam, Zook, Flameslinger, Sunburn, Wolfgang, Tae Kwon Crow, Kaos, etc! I would swap Knightmare and Astroblast with Ghost Roaster, and Rip Tide. Ghost Roaster literally is the worst his soul gem literally is draining is health bar, very useless, and his attacks are not even good either except the skull dash where he turns into the green giant floating ghost skull that can charge into your opponents, but is easily dodgeable, he is also not fun to play as. And as for Rip Tide his moves are not even that fun to use and they aren't even good. All of the rest are pretty much accurate, and I respect that you don't like Knightmare and Astroblast. Knightmare my favorite thing to do with her is the shadow clones, and then her dialogue when she says it is so satisfying, nostalgic, and awesome! I am kinda disappointed that smash hit is so low. The spin to win game plan is fun and I love sending the ball to go kill while I spin with the chain Also, SS stealth elf isn’t that bad imo. You can cheese out a lot of fights like that crab in the level where you go big by letting the turret go wild

I like Knightmare and fire Kraken. I don't particularly care about the others. I would say Supershot stealth elf is my least favorite skylander because she's both insulting and terrible. Second least favorite is sprocket because she's just terrible. If only the Sprocket we had in the show was the one we got in the games.
SPOILERS Zoo Lou - Can see why he was number 10 but I always liked his play style myself Knight Mare + Tuff Luck - Kinda agree but her and Tuff Luck are way better then blastermind. Fire Kraken - Agree, awful swapper. Only good attack is the soul gem. Astroblast - Don’t agree but the disco ball kinda sucks. Kick I think is meant to be that he’s an astronaut and they have limited movement in space maybe? It was always good for booting enemies of edges kinda like magna charge. Eruptor - impartial to this because I don’t mind Eruptor but he is a bit of a 1 trick pony. Super Shot Stealth Elf - Disagree because I think it provides fans with a different play style compared to series 2 and series 3 stealth elf which bore me quite a bit. I like her stealth gun attack but yeah. Bad Juju - Really? Was surprised she was here to be honest. I think you need to play Ember who is one of my least favourites because of how weak she is. Great design but very weak on both paths. Smash Hit - HUH? Sorry crash I just can’t. Smash hit is amazing. I think both paths are pretty versatile and that whatever attack you like more you can go with, similar to riptide. Sprocket - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That’s all I have to say she’s AWFUL!
There should be another list skylanders that just exist which the only thing worth talking about is their existence not that they’re really bad or really good just ok
Never owned the Bad Juju Figure myself, but I love the little arc she has with becoming good to be a positive influence for Juju Jr That being said, Would it be too much to ask for some elaboration on why you don’t like her moveset?(Sorry if that sounded kinda rude there /gen). I don’t know if I’m just misinterpreting, I tend to do that. But the most I got out of that entry is “Her moveset doesn’t make any sense”, and being disappointed by how she turned out after all the eyes you had on her
It's mostly because she feels like a one trick pony to me. The spinning blades move is the only thing I like but it makes you vulnerable to enemy attacks and having Juju Jr there to eat lightning bolts, which is technically a ranged attack, but making him stationary too where most of the time the electricity doesn't do much is just disappointing. Just bummed me out as I was excited to see what they would do with her but it wasn't anything exciting.
Fright Rider. He has no good moves. I wish his attacks did more damage and that he had better range. Instead, he has to get up close and personal with enemies, and he does next to nothing in terms of damage, even fully upgraded. He also has low hp and one attack can take away between 1/4 and 1/3 of his max hp.

In both Trap team and imaginators I am baffled to this day on why his element isn't a tech element. Also I dont think sprocket deserve to be on top of the list you manage to beat a trap team boss in your live lock live stream she diserves better.
I had a nasty feeling Eruptor was going to be on this list, and that nasty feeling was right. Eruptor being on this list is something I disagree with, by the way. He's my favorite Fire Skylander ever, and I especially love him in Skylanders Academy.
