I used ruclips.net/user/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell
*Awesome impact **MyBest.Tools** Takes tires off in a second. Plenty of power for what I’ve used it for - rotating tires. Using it on 3rd setting for removal and 2nd setting for tightening lugs.*
I give this kid good credit. When I was his age I was a power tool fanatic. 18 volt was still in early stages. Keep your head up and listen to the good comments. You are on a healthy path. You are at home playing with tools. You are not out doing drugs. You have real interest in Power Tools since you took time to share your thoughts and conclusions. Good luck to you.
Jason Hull, how about playing with power tools “while” doing drugs? I’ve always found the projects to be of a particular challenge, of course the difference in difficulty being drug dependent. You can also do a tool review while doing drugs and one while straight. This might be the theme of my new RUclips Channel. Please leave your thoughts and comments below... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I completely agree. I have DeWalt, Because I got a good deal on a tool, now I'm in that platform. I'm sure I would have just as happy with Mikita, Milwaukee, or even Bosch. I think each line has something that you might prefer over the others, but there might be some things that other brands do better. I am however, a big believer in you get what you pay for. Your not going to get the same quality from $19.99 Drill master drill from Harbor Freight.
I’d like to see which one wears out quicker. What ever last the longest is which I prefer and so far my makita tools have lasted years even with a crap ton of granite dust inside
I have Dewalt 18 v impact driver and drill. I have used them for years. So my friends finally convinced me to do a long time due upgrade. So I started exploring. I used a few new 20 v Dewalt Brushless for several hours. Then the next day I used this same exact Makita set in this video. So I bought this same Makita kit. Came with two 4 amp hour battery's, Hammer drill and Impact driver. As you can see what my choice was. I used Dewalt and Makita each a day. The Makita is hands down the better tool to me. Especially the Impact driver. It is so small and light, and has extreme torque. Makita has really shinned on this set.
You know how Dewalt has so many different code numbers for their varying qualities of similar looking models? I'm wondering if ALL makita subcompact models from different sellers (HD, Acme, Lowes, Amazon, etc.) are the same. Too many number codes for too many things are swimming in my head to keep track if Dewalt 999 or 888 is same to makita subcompact or yadayada ya?
I prefer the power and just overall "tightness" of my makita. It feels really well built. But, i prefer the dewalt grip and trigger, it's easier to control. As usual, you really can't go wrong with either
Makita = Quality an Power. Makita impact is built solid an it is quality made. Dewalt impact drivers the Chuck shaft wobbles an the battery also is wobbly.
@@Jack_Sparrow17 actually that title clearly goes to Bosch. While their tools are vastly underpowered yet unbreakable tanks their batteries are tip top notch. Nobody comes close. I have bosch batteries that are 8 years old been drained thousands of times and are like brand new. I would agree that Dewalt batteries are next best though if you buy the big high end ones. Their normal batteries suck ass compared to makita or Milwaukee
Had my old Makita for 4 year still running even the battery but had to get a bl on my tool box . There’s three great brand but Makita is better more comfortable lighter and the batteries are the greatest they always improve.
Dewalt makita milwaukee all good tools all tools are about the same just different color different logo name but all 3 brands are good quality tools worth you hard earned money to spend on
So man, which do you prefer, I am currently looking at both of those two combos, but have not decided, I think the impact driver dewalt is more powerful than the makita, but the makita drill is more powerful than the dewalt. Both in my local shop are about the same price, need to choose one of the other, it will be my first cordless purchase, so will also be the set up for the rest of my tools, advice?
Shelley Raskin if you want power go dewalt but if you want a compact kit with power go makita I have the makita combo kit and it's compact and packs plenty of power into anything I Do! Makita is very reliable
You used a Phillips bit on the makita impact not to mention you used an older makita not the newest strongest one and you used a 1/4 bit on the dewalt impact. A 1/4 bit is going to be able to apply the power way more easily than a Phillips bit.
Keep it up kid and don’t let theses loud mouth grown men tear you down... they got there ego wrapped up in there toys and they get there feelings get hurt.
Of my boss's collection of over 20 Dewalt XRs, there are a few that won't stay in gear, all have a problem with cases cracking and losing the screws that are supposed to keep the case together at the trigger, and they get clogged with drywall and concrete dust. I'm not a makita fanboy but I've never seen mine clog up or lose screws.
why does it have so many dislikes? because of the test outcome? pretty nice vid dude, make the cameraman drink less, so the camera doesnt shake that much.
Makitia = Quality. My choice for industrial work. Also Makita goes through 19 inspections before leaving the factory. When you buy a Makita you know you have a Great Powerful an Durable tool that Will Last" Dewalt is poor quality the battery is loose an chuck is wobbly on their impacts.
You must have got a dud because I’ve left a dewalt XR on a roof for over a year in the Texas elements. Rain, heat waves, hail, freezes, and even some minor snow that year. Still ran like a charm after. Eventually the chuck started getting stuck on the bits but I just smack it on a rock and it comes right out. It’s about 7 or 8 years old now and I still use it daily. Mostly as a drilling machine tho because there’s not always a rock for me to bang it on 😂 I have 3 dcd771’s and I throw those off the roof when I’m done. All of them run fine, the newest is a few weeks old and the oldest is going on 5 years. My dcf885 impact has no chuck wobble, is smaller than any of the 20v impacts I compared it to, and the battery fits so snug you have to kind of bump it with your palm to get it off. Dewalt, as with any company, has some tools that are legendary and others that fail completely. Some models will be remembered as being the most durable around whilst others won’t be remembered at all.
I stopped watching during the first test. Ph2 vs hex? You're testing 2 screws with different guages, firstly and one a Ph2 head the other a tek screw. Hex screw will always go in faster in timber. Aswell as your using an extention bit on one and not the other so theres losses in torque pressure transferring from bit to screw. Also, your weighted guide e.g. are you right or left handed? This impacts the speed and pressure of a screw being fixed. Just remember tests need to be apples for apples mate.
@@jacobsebastien3910 bit wobble and case breakage are definitely problems. Last 3 job sites I've seen it in over 15 Dewalt XRs. I was going to get some XRs but now I'm thinking makita.

It all boils down to what color you prefer lol. The differences are so small that it doesn't matter. Both companies are great!

Makita battery technology is world's better than dewalt. I sell both and it's not even close.
Makita has been making impacts before dewalt was even thought of :)
