Willem Dafoe is a god damn powerhouse of performance and if he happens to be reading this then I want him to know his work isn't under-appreciated
I love Willem Dafoe. He'll do just about anything, and he always gives 100%. One of the most memorable actors of his time.
He's absolutely amazing ❤
The Florida Project is just next level , the location and the kids carry that movie , I get what he means he wants to help people get their vision made.
And that is what acting is about. He gets it.
My all time favorite movie, can't imagine anyone else conducting the complexity of that role. Even the way he walks, whether that was for the character or not, helps tell the story.
Willem dafoe deserves a frigging Oscar already
This man absolutely KILLED in The Lighthouse.
Everything he does seems heartfelt and real. Literally every role.
And he seems like a real good dude, who gets it.
Oh how nice. Willem Dafoe gets so few interviews.
I've seen dozens of movies w/ Willem Dafoe and not one of his roles impacted me the way this one did. He is fabulous, the movie was fabulous, and I keep wanting to go deeper into the movie. I will look forward to seeing what roles he chooses next.
He is so amazing in this movie. Please go watch it!! It's amazing❤
I'm glad he got this and a role in justice league/aquaman. I feel like he's under appreciated and forgotten about
Did you see The Boondock Saints?
@@bagelfart8985 I never have. I’ll add it to a list of films that I’ve yet to see (there’s a lot - old and new).
“I like being their creature” pretty much sums it up. A man not afraid to uglify himself for anything as long as the person asking him to do it is confident in their vision
i love this movie. it resembled my childhood a lot honestly
And that's why he turns up in most the most random stuff.
Your'e cool and this sounds cool, sure I'll help you.
I wonder how many films wouldn't have seen the light of day if it wasn't for casting this guy.
Okay, I'll admit it, I cried my eyeballs out watching this movie.
I did too
This man , right there, is a great great actor..my favorite movies with him are Platoon, Boondock Saints and Mississippi Burning together with Gene Hackman.... great movie!
i have such a respect for Willem one of my favorite actors ... loved him in Death note
lil’ pro tip with your video production: if you actually color grade the black and white conversion instead of directly converting your footage to B&W, you can slightly darken your skin tones so people don’t look like ghosts against the white wall 👻⬜️
One of the greatest actors of this generation
Just watched Boondock Saints again the other day and im just glad there are still some roles he can fill
one of the all time greats..mississippi burning, platoon, at eternity's gate, the lighthouse, nightmare alley...on and on..
Absolutely the veteran and standout in Florida Project.
He's a poet of the arts. I'm Inspired.
HE HAS TO BE THE JOKER SOMEDAY!
You're audio editor needs to correct the S's
This film should get all Oscars available, incl. leading role for W. Dafoe.
Genius
Klausy!!!
Imagine being the one person that disliked this
The fact that he didn't win an Oscar for THIS role says less about his immense talent and more about a pervasive unspoken bias in Hollywood that omits much of many American citizen's experiences.
"Hillbilly Elegy" captures more of such uncomfortable reality.
Oscar hold their noses to films like this
Never realized how much he looks like an older Andy Serkis
