That is power gains you will definitely feel. Great work as always Chris! Its crazy because I truly believe this bike on MR12 would give that newer CBR that you dyno'd a run for a its money!
Talking about engine ice , that coolant really works. I used to have a 2007 gixxer 750 that I put the ice In . Friend of mine had 2006 750 that’s the same bike 06-07 . My bike always ran 8-14 degrees cooler then his while out riding together.
Ok. You’ve done what I’ve never seen you do. Actually tune a bike in full view. Not bad for a 750. Today. Maybe 35years ago you woulda got 82hp?? Lol. That’s respectable for today. Lots of fun power
Leo Vince is one best exhaust maker, like akrapovic,or sato,or josh japan,etc.. i think 133 its a little less what a full exhaust must be give you.Of course we dont know the bone stock numbers on this dyno(because the owner dont make it here) My bone stock k7 750 put down 122 whp with better power curve..and with a good quality muffler, ecu flash, air filter and tune, make somewhere 132-135 whp..
Nice work. Love the way you work. Small question normally what afr do you shoot for. Like some of your video i see 14.0. Is that not on the lean side. As i always thought that the best is around 13.0 for best performance? Correct me if am wrong. Thanks waiting for your reply.
Chris great videos, I came here on recommendation from Brocks channel. I have a single seat racing car with a standard k8 gsxr 1000. It has a custom exhaust made by the chap who built the car. I wondered what you recommend in the way of tuning a k8. I’m yet to get a muffler for it but need one that is under 102 dB It is a hillclimb car so 12ft wide asphalt track speeds under 110mph etc. Cheers Keep up the good work
I'm looking your videos, the stock power at the wheels in Europe versions are similar to yours with exaust+filter+flash ecu .... In this case Gsx r 750r stock has al least 129cv rw. Congratulation, From Italy
To be honest, that would be left to YOUR taste. Search here on youtube “gsxr 750 yoshimura exhaust” or “gsxr 750 exhaust” and youll find tons of vids with diff sounds 👌🏼
I hope you can get a 2015+ R1 on the dyno soon! I enjoy your videos and will be getting my 2016 R1 ECU flash and Dyno tuned in a couple weeks. It would be dope to see what results you’d get
Now what about flashing the ecu for timing, the throttle blade positions, ect. Then having a piggy back such as the PCV or bazzaz for fuel? That's the kind of set up I've always used.
@@pravesh736 yes but the ecu cannot hold more than 1 map unless you have different modes. I have a map for pump fuel then a map for mr12. Plus the piggy back makes adjusting fuel easier since you don't have to keep taking the ecu out. So for quick adjustments it's nice.
Ian Talion suzuki ecu does have the option of multi maps. An certain pin can be shorted to ground for map a or b . Ecu plus wideband logger is the way to go if you are serious. Yes piggybacks are beter for the weekend warriors and the dyno operator; quick and easy which is sufficiënt enough.
Thought this bike would make more power then the previous bike. Slightly disappointing 😞...anyway thanks for always keeping us up to date with the latest.
ECU has restrictions no piggyback will fix. It's great to use PC or Bazzaz to create maps because they are quick, but ultimately those final maps could be loaded right into the brains, and all the other sound/emissions restrictions in the brain should be shut off, especially the per-gear restrictions the throttle plates, the ignition, the limiters, O2 faults, throttle valves, PAIR systems, other issues.

I know this is an old video but does that bike still have the factory restrictions in the STP opening like all other bikes or had that been removed already?
How about flashing it to get the ECU unlocked and that way get 100% throttle....tune the bike on the bazzaz on the AFR that u choosen and make sure to use block off plates because pair valve is dumping fresh air into the exhaust throwing AFR a off from the tail pipe.
It would be interesting to see a reply to this one. "Not many restrictions in these", he said - but more interestly is what are they? And yeah, is the pair valve blocked, since the AFR is measured from the can? (i guess it has to be, but it isnt mentioned in details what is done)
How much is it to get your bike tuned also maybe with a power commander? I just bought a K7 GSXR 1000 with full Leo Vince exhaust but no power commander and I think I might be losing some power.
That’s a fast ass little bike. But 1hp for $1,000. Yeah the exhaust manufacturers are laughing their asses off all the way to the bank. 2 words my dudes. Slip on. And were still gettin ripped off. Lols
Wussup Chris. Kinda stupid question but, imma shoot it anyways. Do you really need to flash or PC the bike of you have a full system exhaust on a 2020 r6?
Richard Gadsen won the first HTP super stock class with a 6.06 in his GSXR 1000. Chris you are usually that fast on your 14 that you have set up for that same race. Do you still plan on racing that class?

The manual says 600cc have 125hp, 750cc 150hp and 1000cc 200hp, very similar to yamaha, I guess those numbers are measured on the crank?
Correct. Bikes rate there power the same way as cars. At the crank.
Matt Budesa - their*
Why did the gear changes sound so weird?
The way the quick shifter kills.
I'm thinking its a software quickshift in the Bazzaz software, maybe retarding timing when it detects a shift.

why suzuki says 150 hp stock ?
STÉPHANE TURCOTTE that's at the crank. The bhp figures given here are at the wheel.
For the hp bump NO exhaust is worth the money if we’re bein honest. But we do it anyway because they used to be heavy and are always ugly as sin.
what is the compressd gas he keeps turning on and off?
It's air. It creates a vacuum so the o2 sensor gets the instant reading vs delayed.

None in the high rpms.
