Lyle's one of my favorite drummers. First time I saw The Faceless I was blown away. Dude deserves so much more recognition so thank you for doing this. Always crushing to see bands break up but comforting to know when the members are still rockin and or still getting recognition.

His overall body posture just seems so relaxed, open, and flexible, which you can hear in his playing, I've always had a lot of respect for the simplicity and clarity of his work.
Marthyn, pretty please post the full video of you playing Ancient Covenant for your final exam! The video where you played Lucifer Incestus was a daily watch for me for some time and eventually led to me discovering The Faceless (thanks RUclips algorithm). Now, Planetary Duality is one of my favorite metal albums and it would be full circle if I could watch your cover of that song!

he is my favorite drummer and i love trying to dissect his technique watching him play. His fill work is probably some of the cleanest and most creative in the game. love this comment he is truly underrated in terms of versatility and efficiency

that's a regular pearl eliminator belt drive... it's the drummer- not the pedal that makes all the difference 💪
