I noticed the similarities as well. And it’s not just the music either. Levels are similar visually. Tidal gate just has less loops Corkscrews and no Whales that chase you whilst destroying a bridge I think. And they are about the same length to namely Blaze’s one in Slivers Story.

This level is the beginning of a new chapter where Carol splits up from her team to find her sister, Cory.
Carol ventured into Parusa, going through a branching pathways, meeting and making friend with Spade, going up the volcano to take down Askal, went to the floating tower to destroy the beacon etc. All of these without the involvement of Team Lilac.
I feel like this is the best example of Carol Tea being able to travel on her own

To an extent Pangu Lagoon in FP1 is kinda a beach stage kinda well it’s more of a tropical cave Level then Beach. So kinda FP’s Coral Cave from Sonic Rush adventure.

My favorite level so far. Beautiful. In every way. The highway boss disappointed me because it didn’t feel like a speed based mobile fight. The arena felt far too slow. FAR too slow.
The clam boss at the end of this however… Amazing. Just perfect. Felt SO much faster even though the fight could be said to be just as slow if not slower. The oscillating arena sold this boss in every way. Like the Robopanther and the (Final Dreadnaught 1) Syntax Fight in the first game.
I actually Gold S ranked with Carol on my first go with her. This level is capital F! U! N!
