Great so you took 3 strokes total (includes putts) then you have to tell it how many of those strokes were putts. I have been doing it wrong so far and wondering why my scores were so different from manually counting them. Thanks
Thanks. My Garmin is showing a new glitch now, though. After hitting a drive, the watch no longer asks me every time which club I used. Perhaps I need to reset to factory settings.
You are right.. I did not have a tripod with me so it was complicated or rather impossible to hold the camera with one hand, have the watch on the other wrist AND press a button or scroll. But you are right, I could have taken the watch off and put it down somwhere to film it. But it is really just using your finger and either scrolling on the touch sensitive screen or by pressing the + or - sign, as I mention in the video.
Hey Golf & Tesla, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
thanks for your comment. I do occasionally produce shorts from long-video footage and use Canva for thumbnails. But perhaps other people who read these comments might wish to contact you.. Good luck.
I have Venu 3 and for me it always just suggests the par when I reach the green and does not suggest the strokes I've made already. I'm a high handicap golfer and usually don't reach GIR so I would have liked to see my current stroke count when I reach the green and then I would just add the putts to that. A bit annoying in my opinion
Excellent video when trying to understand how the garmin watch actually works on the course! Thanks from the UK!
thanks a lot. I am glad my video was of help. A Happy New Year to you and good golf in 2025

Good video on useful topic. It would have been better, if you were able show how you entered or changed score on watch.
