    Incredibly well structured video, this is quite literal "gold" when it comes to online content. Tossed you a Sub, keep up the grind!

    This has been the best recall for healers ever everything else I have used does not work! It’s nice to learn from someone who understands what it’s like to have a stubborn dog!!

    Great video! I'm a new subscriber. I adopted a shelter dog 6 months ago and he is a jack russell mix. This is a great training video and I really needed this! Thank you! Cowboy is so beautiful!

    This content is EXCELLENT. Probably really great for all breeds, but ESPECIALLY smart breeds. Very very good!

    Getting a 5 month old ACDxCorgi in 6 days and I am so nervous to train him. He already knows to sit and wait till he’s “released” to eat his food so I think he’s gonna be a smart boy 🤞🤞🤞

    I'd like to add some pre-training. I use a leather choke and 15 foot leash. After your puppy can keep up with you while walking, go to a field. In the middle of the field, wait for the puppy to distract. Turn and walk briskly in the opposite direction. Every time it isn't corrected, crouch down and praise them when it comes to you.

    👏👏my girl has good recall but not bomb proof as squirrels turns off her hearing. My cattle dog is very food motivated so comes on my first call but treats can’t compete with fast moving squirrels. We have more work to do.

    I started trading my puppy on this, he does well sometimes but other times he just lays down and stares at me.

      how old is he? If he is super young puppies just don't have the attention span. Try to always end on a good note before they get tired and bored.

    Great tips, Jack.When you first posted here, I added them while training my puppy and it really made a big difference. She is almost 2yo now and her behavior is almost perfect...still jumping on people😅
    I am thinking on getting a second dog next year, her daughter. But ACD are velcro dogs...do you foresee any problems?
    Cheers from Brazil

      If your current ACD exhibits no resource guarding, no problems. If they show any resource guarding in the slightest (food, people, etc), hope for no issues, but plan to put in some work. Our female ACD is slightly guarding of people, and bullies our new, attention hogging, male Vizsla a little, but the Vizsla takes it like a champ, so no problem. It might have required some work if the second dog was another ACD.

      @diydogguy  Год назад +2

      Cowboy bullies our Brittany (similar soft tempermant to vizsla) at times but he's gotten better.

      If she is balanced with other dogs and you monitor and raise them right together they will probably be pals!
