I love the mini Hammer I have 2 of them. Now I want to buy the Hammer Pro with the black wooden handle.
On the original hammer handle if you take one or two layers of Para cord and wrap around the top section the difference is night and day, for my hand at least. Thanks for the review, love your channel!

I agree with you Chris, as a TTF pinch grip shooter I am really liking the new hammer pro! It checks off all of the boxes for me in comfort, size and ease of attachment. The fiber optic is new to me but I’m warming up to it. I purchased this the first day it came out after I had been eyeing up the ttf mini hammer for a while. Fortunate timing Id say. The MS Hunter has the same fork width so I’m not really having to adjust from my usual setup which is nice. Im sure the synthetic handle will be great but I was very happy to get the beautiful wood handle.

Nice bit of kit.
Thinking of the pro with the rosewood handle maybe with the blackwood as spare. Probably the OTT ver. Would love the pro handle slightly longer as the other to give a better choices of grip especially with my non-dominant hand having a bit of mild arthritis now. But the fatter hammer grip should be comfortable unlike some pinch grips for me.
You have a fantastic channel! I took the plunge yesterday, and bought the crazy power mini, because I like the idea of a full tang titanium, as well as a solid pinch grip. The pro hammer looks awesome though, with it's canted wooden grip and narrow forks! I think it's going to be my next purchase!
Glad you like the channel buddy, let us know how you get on with the slingshot when it arrives, the crazy power is definitely the most pocketable of the series and was my edc for a long time but it is hard to beat the ergonomics of the hammer pro.

First thing to say is: I love GZK!
I'm relatively new to the sport, but the difference the grip along with the TTF setup makes, is unbelievable! Now I know why you like the Hammer so much!
Also being able to see the target, the bands and the glow-sights, all at the same time, really helps with accuracy.
I did love my Torque, but I may have found a new crush:P
I used tiny bits of latex to create "Gypsy Tabs" so that I can run looped tubes on the Pro Hammer. More shooting and fewer band changes.

So many choices They do say nothing's better than the original but the Pro Hammer grip does appear to look easier to hold
They both hold really good it's just preference really
Would you please do a video on how to use the double points sight? Are you suppose to aim between the green and red dots? Also, it seems you like the wrap the best but how would you keep the wrap clean from germs? Wouldn't the wrap get gross over a period of time? Maybe I'm a bit sensitive especially because of Covid. Thank you.

I just got the hammer pro and shot it for the first time today! I cant believe how comfortable the handle is. This is the first ttf slingshot I have ever shot and it was like I had been shooting it for years. Thanks for doing the review. The orange bands it came with are awesome. Got one on order, looks great, any chance you could do a video on various sight set ups? Brand new to this so any tips on zeroing would be appreciated, I used to shoot air rifles so understand how to zero scopes,... cheers

It's a great frame but I'm not 100 percent accurate the whole of the time.
That's probably down to release and not the sights pal. If your low adjust up and visa versa

Not limited. They still have them. You can choose what handle you want in the product listing.

Thank you for a great channel! I love the content and have now subscribed. If u have the time if would like to ask you one thing. Is the grip and handle the only thing that set the Pro and Mini Hammer apart? For a rookie its abit hard to understand from GZKs website.
Yes mate the forks are identical it's only the grip which is different
The hammer is a dedicated hammer grip design the hammer pro is a pinch grip, hammer grip hybrid. The hammer is a more durable handle.

If you were to shoot strong bands on that frame or the first version,I imagine it wouldn’t be comfy, let’s say the simpleshot .4 latex with a cut of 27/22 which was a common cut for that band back when it first cameout the natural latex.but with the crazyhorse version of that I reckon would be a much sturdier frame for a good hunting band. Do u think the hammergrip frames would be ok with a decent set of bands or would u reckon the hammergrip would suit target shooters more ? I’d like your opinion on this as I’ve got the crazy horse and it can take a good band the size of the forktip atleast!

You could, but it wouldn’t fit the full width of the fork tips. I believe they are 24mm wide. Specs are on their website.

Prefer the original the handle is slightly more neutral which I think suits me better I've accomplished alot with it so I'm very fond of the frame. If they both came out at the same time I dont know which id choose
