Nothing to sort out. Your videos are great. Congrats to the winners. I ordered the glove a few days ago after watching your other videos. And now I know it was a wise decision. (I had a black widow back in the day.) I have a few different types of bows aswell. Slingshots and bows- completely different skill sets. And if the zombies ever do attack, I'll be grabbing my slingshots first.
Those wire frames are really good for dart shooting. Big shooting gap and hammer grip makes it much safer. I installed my flat bands using smart clamps. I did turn the handle other way around, so the prongs are now facing towards the target. This is safer way to use those clamps. That glove is well worth the price. I was little bit skeptical about its stopping capabilities, because those scales looked very thin, but this video proves me wrong.
I prefer the older style darts cause the fletchings are way more durable. the bigger thumb grip is nice but the hard plastic will crack the first time you miss. that being said, I put feather fletchings on there using epoxy and they work amazingly. also discovered the fishing dart tips will thread right on there. just my 2 cents ✌️
Hey no way. Thats awesome. Thanks Chris and Snipersling for the opertunity. Your video and audio quality sounds and looks great. Let me know if you need some information from me Chris. Thanks again brother
The clips of the damage makes me sick to my stomach, makes me understand just how dangerous these can be. Its insane how damaging they can be for the shooter if you don't take the correct precautions.
Brilliant video Chris. No Bullshit , no waffling on , down to earth guy , that's why you get a million viewers. Happy Christmas to you and your family mate.
Looked like good protection for a glove so thin! If I was shooting darts I'd much rather have one than not based on this video! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Good to see you again Chris. The glove would deflect the dart depending on the angle, whereas the dart would pierce the skin for sure. Great vid. All the best to you and your loved ones. Be well, stay free 👍🏻
Thanks for doing this test. I've done some testing myself on the Snipersling Kevlar glove and the more usual leather and metal plate type gloves. The Kevlar glove stopped the dart but it did allow about 6mm of penetration, so if that was on a knuckle or joint it would hurt. The leather and metal plate glove stopped the dart dead, no penetration and minimal deformation. That said, leather offers no protection at all - the glove worked because the dart hit the metal plate. So it was a choice between the full coverage but slightly lesser protection of the kevlar glove and the lesser coverage but better protection of the leather and metal plate glove. I went with the leather and metal plate option because my frame allows me to hold so that my hand is completely protected behind the metal plate. This dragonscale glove looks like the best of both worlds. I think you're overstating the broken bones possibility - I've chono'd the darts at about 6.5 fltbs with supplied Snipersling black bands, I don't think that's enough to break any bones. I also shoot heavy lead balls at 24ftlbs and I hit the back of my hand with one of them, I was wearing the same leather and metal plate glove and it hurt like hell but did no serious or lasting damage.
Have you tried the kevlar gloves at Snipersling? I wonder if they would stop the dart? Could not get a response from them. Just curious. Nice informative video.
Good job wish I had a glove 20 years ago I put a homemade dart into my hand that I made out of a large shark hook I had Straightened out it hit me in the web of my hand I could not pull it out I had to push it all the way through and cut the barb off and then pull it out good video
Great video Chris, need to get you a lapel mic though...... couldn’t hear a word you were saying on the 2nd half of it. Love those Sniper Sling frames though..... wish they would do a Toxic Green/black option and I’d probably pay the USA postage to get a couple
Hey Chris, definitely worth the money opposed to having what you showed a dot through your hand. I don’t know how much more you can present it to make it show that it is worth beautiful example.
Thanks for these videos, earned a sub. Have you thought about setting up a bit of a moving target system? maybe the targets could be on swing arms that pivot around in front of a full backstop to catch misses?
Chris I love the slingshot aswell dude but some-people don’t realise how powerful and diverse the slingshot/flat bands are. And just want to argue and talk shit about it ,,
I can't find it now, but i saw a beefier version with i think 15 gauge steel scales, the larger "dragon scale" type and it had heavier veg tanned leather underneath, looked good for both these and for regular archery.
This shows how good that glove is. The shot that hit it was definitely more perpendicular than if you were wearing the glove to shoot darts, so the glove would easily deflect a shot at a shallower angle. Nice grouping though!
Great video Chris as per usual 👌 point well proved.. I said from the start that glove is a must.. unless you're a very well experienced shooter.. I like the modified wrist brace frame.. perfect for the darts.. All the best mate 👌
Iv just watched your vid & don't know if any1 has suggested fabracating in a D loop so you can use a release aid such as they use with compound bows. I think having a release aid would give more stability & accuracy. Frickin awesome vid. Really like the glove. I do a bit of archery (compound) but since seeing butterfly slingshot shooting, i want to get myself a good slingshot.
People have no idea how close we are to that post-apocolyptic world. I've got absolutely nothing against anyone, but I'd rather be segregated from society than fall in line like the rest of those who don't value their freedoms. The glove is spot on, far better to have it than not. Them darts are savage little things but I think I'd still rather have ball bearings purely due to ease of carrying and amount I could carry in a comfortable manner. Great video.
Brilliant video sound quality definitely a lot better to mate and would love to see more ratting videos and squirrel hunting also have a good Christmas 😀
When I shoot the darts I use my own made with longer forks because i have seen a friend with a dart in his hand but I'm more accurate with the smaller sling shot it's just easier and I wouldn't risk it
It’s a no brainer for me.....mine works outstanding, and I’ve been lucky enough so far, not one penetration incident, which increased my confidence level significantly 😎👍great glove. As a matter of fact, I’ve adopted this glove over to wearing it while I shoot my Asiatic style archery, in which the area along the back of the thumb is used as an arrow rest.....outstanding double purpose piece of safety gear brotha 😎🙏🏹👍
Great video i was wandering how much protection that glove would give, enough without being hindering your movement way better than that clip! I sapos just take a second with your shot. Your audio is great never really noticed much shuffling until you did it near the end.

I wonder if you could stop them with a butchers chainmail glove? 👍 Gotta be careful with the ol' thumb too. There's a nice blood vessel there that bleeds a lot. 😬
Thanks for posting this brother! I was wondering how those gloves would hold up. Now you’re gonna make me have to go get a set! Thanks brother! Like I need another toy! Merry Christmas to you and yours!👊🙏😂 Great logic at the end! Thanks!
One thing I've noticed between you and some other slingshot shooters,, it appears to me that you are "anchoring" your hand at your cheek area,, much like an archer would. I also noticed you're using the black bands. From what I understand, the black bands are the strongest of the different colored bands. Do you know the formula for determining the lbs pull you have, at your draw length, for the length of band you are using? And am I correct in assuming you can increase the lbs pull by using shorter bands?
Yup! That glove definitely does an amazing job! Will have a look at fishing with the slingshot darts. Have you ever hit your hand with a BB? Cheers Chris 🍻 🐕
I'm seriously impressed. Whoever made these needs to start a full clothing range 😂
I'm seriously impressed myself
they are beautiful
I'd love a vest made of that.

I actually thought your first 3 shots were just deflecting off the scales, tight group dude, very tight group. Nice demonstration.

Yup, the Daisy F16 (Also called the Jack Pyke "Storm" in certain Euro countries) is a perfect frame to modify for dart and arrow shooting. 👍

I did that with a treble hook once, got stuck in my ear.
Neat those darts are neat but that’s a dangerous weapon so definitely needs the slow approach.
Thanks for the guidance to protect hands
Awesome video Chris. Love these darts. Not sure I've got the bottle to shoot them but going to buy some... Maybe
Appreciate you testing the glove. Think I’ll pick one up for the boy. Keep him reasonably safe. ✌🏻
It'll protect his knuckles which is the most commonly struck places

I agree it’s a amazing system. They hit hard. Quite accurate also. Good for small even possibly medium game with a well placed shot..
I think some protection is certainly better than none at all… good test to say what’s been fired at it 👍👍👍
Thanks for shooting your glove to educate others, cheers.
Good seeing you bub! Congrats on your subscribers my friend!!

good trial of the glove but you was shooting at a distance. wouldn't the dart have lost a bit of momentum vs being less than a half meter away?

Maybe a hand guard built into the slingshot would work too, some sort of metal cuff that can detach easily.
