- Did some more experimentations with recording cinematics for Helldivers 2. And tried out new editing techniques. Annnnnnnd I did some voice acting 😅 hopefully it turned out well.
Also, I couldn't think of a title, so I just called it Recons of Crimsica, since there's only two of us 😅
Special thanks to @HeliumCinematics for helping me make this video! Those Terminids would have ripped me to shreds... which, they did.

Wish the planets had more defining characteristics that way we can know what planet youre on by just watching. But these are amazing, i wanted to do something similar. Just dont have the equipment but thats ok. Youre doing it for me haha, amazing work man 🫡

The most satisfaing thing is those are ALL IN GAME FOOTAGES with small edits and cuts, what a game, good job guys.
Love how AH intended the airburst to be anti air, but most people I see use it as a man portable cluster strike.
It works well, if done right and over a huge breach, I can airburst and kill 30+ bugs in a single shot
the super cinematic for super earth makes me forget that I'm super dead
Also, for these cinematics, I assume the only way to make them is to turn off the HUD right? there is no replay system in the game?
Yep, you got to turn off HUD to get some cinematic shots.
your work has been the best i've seen. its fun to see what shoots, angles, and sound effects you do. you doing it all ingame footage is crazy too.

It looks pretty good on minimum settings too.
Thank you! And the game would still look nice even on minimum to medium graphics, I did a lot of color-grading in post to boost the quality.

SES Prophet of Family Values: Crimsica…that blasted place, you know it reminds me of a planet on the western front, I can’t remember the name, I’ve seen to many. The ion storms, the red algae, as red as pure crimson blood. It was not the worst hell I’ve ever been sent to, realistically comparing what I’ve faced there to..other combat zones, it should be forgettable, but the red algae, red like pure crimson blood, it haunts my dreams, it and all the fallen Helldivers before me. Watching me, judging me, questioning why I couldn’t save them, why I did not save them…
I think when this war ends I’m going to retire, if I live to see the end…

@@Sparks16 That's good to hear. I remember I had also suggested the same thing a few videos back. To set the fps at 24 so that it looked like a movie. So glad to see you were also thinking the same. Keep up the great work. Hope to see more of these cinematics. Arrowhead really should work with you for their cinematics
@@krishanuphukan80 Your comment is actually the reason why I tested it out, so far, it's looking great! my friends also liked it. Thanks for the suggestion bro! Lowering the framerate from 60 to 30 gave the video a whole different vibe.

@@Sparks16Honestly, that makes it better. It seems like something Super Earth may do: label it vaguely as a "recon mission" but clarifies it in tiny text at the bottom of the mission briefing. I like it
