- Best Granola Bars Ever ! Kind Bar Recipe
Here’s how we made them:
Preheat oven to 325.
Oil and line an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment paper or foil.
Mix 3 1/2 Cups (or more for thicker bars) of your favorite nuts and fruits.
We use almonds for our main ingredient, about 1.5 cups. You can also add your favorite cereal, puffed rice, sesame seeds, caramels, sprinkles, whatever you like.
Season with a light dusting of cinnamon and a couple pinched of salt if desired.
Drizzle 1/4 to 1/2 cup of Rice Syrup over the mixture. Rice Syrup can be found at health food stores, Asian markets, usually in the Korean section or on Amazon of course.
Some recipes call for corn syrup. We haven’t that or tried with honey yet. Some people say honey doesn’t crisp up. If you’ve tried honey or another sweetener, let us know.
Stir together until everything is coated.
Press into your pan with an oiled piece of parchment or foil.
Bake 18 minutes, then let cool until room temperature.
Break apart into granola size chunks or cut into individual servings.
Enjoy!

The homemade kind bars look really delicious what a great recipe have a great weekend guys 😋
How did I miss this comment? Thank you! I hope you are doing great as well👍
These look so good! I have to try making them.
We loved them. Let us know what you think 😊
I'm sure this is way less expensive than buying them at the store. 👏
Absolutely!
Way better than cooking honey and maple syrup on a stove pot and then trying to get the sticky mess on your nut mix before it turns into a rock! I looked at those recipes last night and thought that they were unnecessarily complicated and I just finished baking some myself in the oven just like your recipe! But I used to mix of molasses and honey and maple syrup and it does set. Cooking time is longer though closer to 25 30 minutes
Yes! I bet the molasses is so good in it. I'll have to give it a try. Thank you!
Those would be great for my workouts !
Yes. And you can store them quite a while.
Oh I'm going to try this!!!!
I hope you like them. Don't skimp on the syrup like I did though. They are so nice with the full amount.
can't wait to try🤩👍
Thank you for watching. We hope you love them!
If you score them right out of the oven they are easier to cut when cooled and less breakage.
@@azurecerulean You're the first person to tell me that. Thank you! I will definitely try that. And thank you so much for watching!
Drizzle some chocolate on that thang 😍 looks delicious!
😁 Thank you!
Rice Syrup is recommended, because the sweetness is less than honey and any sugar, rice syrup is fermented made from rice and barley malt, thank you for sharing but i prefer toasted the peanuts in advanced , cooked the syrup, mixing together and let it cool inside tin mold.. ;)
Very interesting. Thank you!
thank u so much !
Thank you!
Congrats on 5000 views!
Gracias! Somehow our pecan pie video just flew past this one. So crazy!
delicious 😋
Thanks so much😊
I've never had rice syrup. Where do you find that? At a store like Whole Foods?
We get ours at our local Asian market. But yes, any health food store, Sprouts, Whole foods, etc. I'm not sure why they carry because it's not exactly healthy. 😁
Good video. What size pan is that???
@@scoobysnacks3740 Thank you! This was a 9x9 pan, but 8x8 makes for a thicker bar which I like better.
@@paulandbenny thank you
Can you use honey or do you have to use rice syrup?
We haven't tried honey yet. Some people say it doesn't work because it stays soft. Others say if you bake it longer and slower it works. Please let us know if you find out before we do😃
Is this ok for diabetics
I'm not sure. It's probably best to ask a doctor or nutritionist.
Spot on , try to make better 👍
