One handed draws are important, but if he's that close I'm probably not going for my firearm. Then it turns into a fight for the gun and if he gets that you're really boned.

The first in the second a person can defeat you with a weapon.

First drill in my opinion is more realistic second drill i feel personally you should never be that close to a enemy especially in any altercation

Clearly you don’t have any concept of cqb

Only time in my life I ever got robbed, the guy was on me like that. I was locking up my office and he was waiting right around the corner. I had zero time to react because he was basically hugging me by the time I knew he was there.

@ sometimes we get caught slipping it happens but me personally if I was that close I wouldn’t still feel safe drawing if there was a knife or any weapon in the game he has the upper hand being that close I would draw once I created somewhat of a distance or a gap to draw my weapon once his weapon is not a threat. mind you I go to competitions and my draw time and accuracy is fairly well I’m not saying I wouldn’t draw that close because I would fumble or anything I’m saying this only because every second matters and just putting your hand on the holster with a weapon inches away isnt the best bet
