I have never used Wilcom, I have Embroideryware… but I don’t fully know how to use that yet! I pretty much use it for lettering! It was crazy night here … after work shopping and playing with the kids!
I just as wondering what needle you’re using. I’ve not tried floating. I’ll give it a try maybe I’ll get less puckering. I embroidered on a silky material and the result was very puckery.
I usually use Janome brand needles with the blue top… floating is the way to go in my eyes! Easier than hooping and no hoop burn! Silly materials are definitely difficult to embroider…. Maybe float it and use a medium weight cut away and see how that works! I also plan to make an updated better video on my polos so stay tuned for that soon :)
My machine is 230 not 550. My confusion is if there's any software dat can be use b4 the drive work or the drive can work directly. Sorry 4 d inconvenience pls I need a mentor
Oh, ope! I didn’t realize which machine! Ok for the 230E you use a jump drive (USB drive) to my knowledge there is no software for it. You can get different embroidery programs to do different things with text and pictures… I use Embroideryware but mainly only use it for text. I don’t change much on my designs… I just don’t have time to learn digitizing. I may work on a series on the 230E where it can help you and others! It’s a nice machine!

Thank you for watching my video! I am glad it was able to help you! My Janome 230E came with only the 5.5x5.5 hoop… I believe the 230E only has the 2x2 and 5.5x5.5 hoops … to get bigger hoops you need a machine that is meant for bigger hoops…
You bought a Janome MC550E!? That’s awesome! I love mine :) you can buy or download your designs and then add them to you usb drive/ thumb drive! If you want to drive t connect to the machine from computer you do need to use the Janome CD that came with the machine… I use a jump drive for my machines. Ask all you need, I don’t mind!
Ok so when the collar is butttoned all way up the letters begin about an inch below and from the buttons it’s about 3/4 to an inch! Thank you for your question!

Placement is the hardest and scariest! Mine are no way perfect but I really tried to get them as close to the same as possible! And thank you!

But my control that move from end to end is hanging pls help
Are you able to use the trace function? If the arm isn’t moving correctly it may need a technician to fix it… I wouldn’t know how to fix it.

So you don’t measure like 5” down from collar and 3” over from the buttons to find the center of the design?
@@heidilange1932 no, with my daughters polos I just copied one that was done someone else and it was my guide to where I place the wording :)
What font did you use?
I believe it’s a basic font that was on my program is use... it’s a non serif font. If I were home I would look it up for you :)
