Peter Noone is just as good as when he sang in the 60s. He was most popular when I was in Jr. High and High School Grades 8 to 11. His songs were mostly just fun, happy and upbeat, with a few melancholy ones to make things interesting. This takes me back to when I was a teen of about 14 or 15. Great memories !
First saw them 1964 at the Oasis club, Manchester, never imagined I'd come across them 60 years later on a device called a mobile phone that doubles up as a miniature tv / information centre.
Peter is almost 77! He looks and sounds great. Singer and songwriter Burton Cummings is the same age and sounds and looks great! Must be something in the Manchester and Winnipeg water!
What a nice guy fame hasn't gone to his head hes down to earth a kind caring and genuine man who loves his fans never took drugs either what a lovely person i have always liked him since i was a little girl back in the 60s
Thank you for posting. We were there. A very entertaining show… Peter Noone still has a great voice. Herman’s Hermits was the first concert I ever saw. It was at the Bushnell in 1966.
was there on the 24th and totally didn’t know he was scheduled to appear. walking past the tent we heard the intro and stood there for 45 minutes completely transfixed. what a great surprise!
Peter: You still have it. Cheers! 👏👏 The songs in this video: 1) I’m Into Something Good, written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, and originally recorded by Earl-Jean of The Cookies. 2) Wonderful World, originally recorded by Sam Cooke.
Wow - this was fun to watch - brought me right back to the era. Peter sounds good and the band is tight. Audio quality is pretty good too - thanks for sharing!
Wow, I didn’t realise Peter Noone was still with them. I saw him in pantomime in Aladdin I think, or maybe Babes in the Wood, can’t remember as a child in 1970.
There are two bands using the "Herman's Hermits" name. Peter Noone left the band in the 70s to be a solo act. Now he tours the US as "Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone". Barry Whitwam, the drummer since 1964, tours with a band that has been known as Herman's Hermits since Noone left. There have been lawsuits over who has the rights to the name Herman's Hermits. Whitwam's Herman's Hermits stopped doing American tours because of the name dispute.
Oh My dear Lord! This clip is actually from 2024? It's not the just the date of the posting? He sounds amazing. I watched recent clips of Macca (McCartney) and I almost cried. His speaking + singing sounded Old 😪. My older sister took me to the Rivoli theatre in West Haven, Ct in 1964 to see A Hard Day's Night when I was 7. So seeing an old Paul made me very sad but a rejuvenated Peter Noone rejuvenated ME.
@@biggringo5279 Right? I saw a clip of him performing just recently and being interviewed in July and his speaking voice sounded shaky and - I hate saying it but he sounded like an OLD MAN - which we know he but I just didn't think about it till now. I saw the show on Hulu w/Rick Rubin, which I think is only a yr or so old and he sounded fine. So it just made me think either he was sick when I heard him or just comes on fast. Oh Well, It goes on. Be Well Brother Biggrino. Hey, is Big Gringo or Bigg Ringo? 🤔
@@biggringo5279 Oh man, I do apologize that I didn't see that other G. I guess, in talking about Mac, my brain saw Ringo and wow I just saw a clip of his band and he still looks the same - dyed hair + still flashing the Bunny Ears (✌️ what I started calling the peace sign) that Ringo's been flashing since the 1967 Summer of Love. The truth is I think it lasted about 3 weeks, it ended when the drug rip-offs + bad trips started outnumbering the good scenes 😆. But sweet Ringo lives a charmed life. We all love Ringo and he has so many big stars wanting to play w/him bc he's 'Ringo'. Funny thing about that Lad is he was the sickly kid as a child and missed a lot of schooling bc of it and yet he'll probably be last survivor and he was the oldest. Well, be well Brother Gringo.
I've seen his show before. If anybody gets a chance to see him, i highly recommend you go out of your way to see the show. You will not be disappointed!
I was Peters manager for 12 years and he told me he said a little family secret he was born exactly on midday that's how he got his name he also told me he's got a bolt in his neck hence Herman due to operation went wrong
I fantasized about doing this. Make Peter Noone laugh over when Chip and Dale were both fighting over the Walt Disney Clarice. Both trying to fight for who gets to go out on a date with her. Will the Bravestarr Dark Child/Zardeth be impressed by this situation. Dark Child/Zardeth the 2-year-old snake boy uses telepathy to communicate with his 12 disciples. He visualizes what's going on. One of his disciples is a 2-year-old little girl skunk named Olette. Dark Child/Zardeth has 13 faces on his skull. One of those 13 faces belongs to his girlfriend. They share the same body. Sometimes Dark Child is a cyborg. Dark Child also has a male human house pet who's a headless human vegetable. He has one male and female anaconda who's stitched onto his back. He's definitely a grotesque creature.
No. Way better. His old fans still love his songs and and I've been to concerts with 60s stars performing in the mid 80s and they were good shows as are the shows put on by 80s groups at open air shows... Pubs don't have the ambiance .
Voice is still spot on - Peter looks great, very youthful, energetic - God bless him and his family!
Wow! Still sings exactly the same.
He still has his voice, great 😊😊
Still has that youthful exuberance!! and he sings just like 64/65

I saw them at the Garden State Arts Center a few months back. Still sounds really good! Peter Noone is very lively. Loved it.

Very impressive

OMG after all these years....WOW!
We met them at the Stamford Hall in the 1960s still sound great 👍
Still sounds good 👏
Totally recognizable! Sounds great!
Peter Noone's voice still sounds great along with a microphone save that Gordon Banks would've been proud of 😊
Brilliant. And just like Davy jones, a Manchester lad!
Peter did a great job still has it. as i sit here and smile at this performance
Wonderful! And today we are forced (e.g., commercials) to constantly listen to hip-hop and rap garbage. If only I could go back in time…
Have a nice trip...
Saw him many times, he's great. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
I seriously saw them when I was about 12! 😅👍😎🇨🇦
Then Now Forevermore!

Absolutely brilliant superb wonderful skill talent art, superb
same key as the original version. Excellent. And his backing band seems to have been with him for many years now.
I was there Yesterday... fun times!!
Boy does that take me back! Saw him about 15 years ago at a small venue down here in south Atlanta. It was great!
Looks like a great show
Peter still has a great voice!!
I need to try and make it a point to see him before I die or he does. Mrs Brown was the number one song when I was born.

Peter Noone gave a long interview to the Professor of Rock. He’s a great raconteur! This is a Goffin & King song.
Sounds great and handled the mic incident like a pro
Saw him two years ago in Cape May. What a great talent and gentleman. Stayed for a full greet and meet.
Wow - this was fun to watch - brought me right back to the era. Peter sounds good and the band is tight. Audio quality is pretty good too - thanks for sharing!

Saw them couple of years ago in southend and they were great live vocals spot on
When pop music was worth listening to.
So cool to see these guys and America at this years BIG E Fair in western Massachusetts
Happy songs from yesteryear.
I really imagined marrying him one day 🤣🤣. Still good wow ❤️

Hey, Billy!
Why is it that Peter doesn't sing "Silhouettes" note-for-note the way it was written and performed?
Wow. A career from 4 hits 60 years ago
Hey where was this filmed please he still sounds great thanks lisa
Springfield, Massachusetts. September 24, 2024.
@@biggringo5279 Thanks for getting back to me

Is anybody besides Peter Noone from the original group?
I think that Peter Noone is the only original member in this group.

Definitely not.

Got a c.d in the back 😂😂

I'm not crazy about the bass drum pattern...
Overrated I am sorry to say.
I wouldn't expect anything else from a swifty.😂
Saw him at the Woodstock Connecticut Fair in 2005. Fabulous show!
good enough for a pub gig
