The first time I saw Angela was in one of the Norman’s Rare Guitar Starturday video, Angela jammed with Mary Spender on that day. The moment Angela played the lick and tremolo bar I was hypnotized. With Mary being the rhythm guitarist, Angela let blues flow out of her, it wasn’t the ‘64 Strat, the sound was solely hers. Suffice to say the playing and her beauty have carved up a new list in my conscience to go back to for sessions of soul soothing.

Doesn't everyone adore this song? I love the Parallel switch to Amaj and then it reverts back to Amin. Imagine if Harrison was a bit more free to bring his songs to the forefront during the Beatles. In an interview with John Lennon and McCartney they admitted in conversation that Georges songs were now as good as theirs. The interview was during the recording of Abbey Road or thereabouts. George Martin also admitted that he later felt troubled by giving all his attention to Lennon/McCartney as they were the ones who kept coming up with the greatest songs. I just believe that a combination of Georges quiet nature and (anything for a quiet life) attitude alongside his reluctance to push for his songs to be completed and recorded meant he never got to shine to his full potential during anytime with The Beatles.
Many members of bands are very strong willed and would be shouting and screaming to get their songs out there and this is often the cause of band breakups however you can never take the quiet, calm humanity out of George Harrison. Harrison did also leave the Beatles for a short time but came back which may of been tensions and the fact he may of felt alienated just as Ringo did just a little earlier.
Thank God they saw sense and came back because neither of them could ever of been replaced. The Beatles were just one of those bands where every member had their integral part to play and changing any of this would collapse the wave function! Compare this to modern bands like Dream Theatre where most members have moved on yet the band just evolved into another version of itself quite successfully. Some bands like Queen, ABBA and a few other could NEVER do this just because of how they all have found their part making up the whole and to change this would have far too much of a detrimental effect on the whole.
Ringo's drum patterns and fills were so distinctive and he always played the best patterns to fit the song. Harrisons songwriting and delicate guitar parts and how he always left space never overplaying anything, ever, cannot be duplicated. The entire band would sound far too different with anyone else no matter how technically trained a replacement would be. Imagine 'A Day In The Life' with all the beautiful classical feel drums in the latter parts of the song not being there? The song can never be bettered for sure but it could of been taken down a few notches very easily with just a handful of poor choice changes. As It is however is indeed perfect.

OMG...I am so impressed with your skills. I want to learn this so bad and struggle with muted strings which just ruin the piece!! I love listening to your sweet version. Thank you Angela. You're so very generous and a patient teacher.
Adjust your sitting position. And Maybe move your guitar slightly back or forward, which ever gets you there. We all have to do it. Or maybe your action is too high. Don't know if you are a new player but most new players buy really cheap guitars $70 new guitars and the action will always be high. Or sometimes unplayable. Like running in stilleos. If you can afford a Martin guitar, it will last you for life. Any of them are the business. Also the strings affect playing so much. I use low tension strings by Newtone. Others do them. They are not expensive. I've had the same set on for 8 years. What's good about them is they are soft so don't kill your hands, they give the guitar like a semi electric strings feel. Bends, and pressure is easier. Because they take away the press on the fret, you improve in other areas. One less thing to bother about. One downside is they go out of tune alot when new. But eventually they hit the good spot and stay. Hope all that helps. Otherwise take your guitar to a Luthier. To set your guitar up. Last time l did it. $50. I've a Martin and took it to a Luthier straight away. Made it a brilliant guitar. Basically a decent guitar will be the only one you need for life. A Martin will do that. Never subject a guitar to massive temperature changes. Like sticking it in a garage. It will bend like a banana, and will possibly be ruined. Stick at it. Listen to Angela, she's a great teacher.

Omg iv ben watching quite a few of your vids today an have fallen in love .lol. 😍🥰💘 but for real you are super talented 👏an beautiful btw. What I would do to find a partner who played as well well as u do an had your beauty. If you couldn't tell I play guitar myself an a few of my relationships ended over me spending all my time playing music. Now I still got a day job but still I spend a good 2 to 4 hours aday playing so if I could Share that time with someone I feel my life would just be so much easier. sounds pretty good. may i suggest adding some dynamics to ur finger pickin??? seemed a lil flat ( not in a tone way- but rather in a boring way) maybe some accented plucking might living it up a bit. but nice work my friend!!
samwise goji ....I believe the whole intent was for this to be atmospheric....and not that people cant always benefit from feedback...but when she has John Mayer talking about her....I believe she is quite far along....
