Hello Mike, thank you for sharing your experience at the record show. I watch a lot of your videos and need to comment more. I have learned a lot from your videos and you inspire me to keep making the best videos I can. Thanks again! Best, Steve
We had a great time in Den Bosch and really smashed it down there as we sold big. It was also really nice to meet you Mike. You seem to be a totally cool dude with a ton of knowledge regarding audiophile pressings, recent quality re-pressings and certainly a lot of knowledge regarding music in general. Hope to see you again in Den Bosch. Cheers / Mats (Bromma Records)
I miss the Utrecht fair so much and seeing this footage has me itching to return to the Netherlands although I'll miss the familiarity of Utrecht. First went in 2007 and what an experience. Overwhelming but incredible. You can find bargains and you can treat yourself to higher end stuff at median discogs prices. Bought numerous wall records for decent prices. But as the prices of records continue to rise I know those 500 euro records 10 years ago would be more like 1500 euros these days.
They call bootlegs 'alternative pressings' now ! All the time I sold records there, some dealers were scared shitless because of getting caught selling bootlegs. There was always a English guy with all the high end Led Zeppelin bootlegs from Japan and he was almost paranoid. Great to see, living in Germany now, might go to the November fair. Thanks !!
Hello Mike, I assume this was April 9th and 10th? Finally after 2 years a new Mega Record & CD fair was held and after 25 years in Utrecht, this was the first one in Brabanthallen, Den Bosch (or 's- Hertogenbosch). Wasn't able to make it; would have loved to meet you. Have been following your You Tube channel for quite some time now and you turned me onto a bunch or great jazz artists (being a rock/metal/progessive fan); always so cool when you discover new stuff and get turned onto new genres and artists. So much still to discover and enjoy! Thanks for all the videos and updates. Keep 'em coming. Regards from The Netherlands!

Great video thanks Mike. I’m from the UK and thanks to you I’ve convinced the Mrs that we should go to this next time it’s on - I assume this is an annual show? So she says “We can drive over, it’s only 250 miles!” I’m not sure she’s thought it through - I can buy so much more if we drive over 😆 Edit: I’ve just Googled it, it’s biannual so there’s another one on 12th & 13th November so 🤞🏼i can go go to that one!
Crate digging is the bomb. Do those 70's records from Asia on sometimes colored vinyl have any value? Bell Records etc. I have Issac Hayes and Aretha Franklin with paper covers. I just found a US DSOTM at Goodwill for $1.29 because record was one spot and cover was another.

It’s interesting how collectors like you are going to Europe to find many of these records bc I thought you could find most of these originals from any used record stores in the US. Well, I’ve been out of collecting for about 20 years and I guess it’s getting harder and harder to find these records in used record stores in the US But I am glad to see vinyl coming back and now having more value. Haven’t gone to a used record store in about 20 years and I guess certain records are costing more now.
