Some of those Heathcliff comics are worth a good deal of money. A #1 goes for $100+, and an anniversary cover #12, sells for upwards of $800! Heathcliff is also much better than Garfield (IMO). :)
I’m going to be buying my first collection this Tuesday. My dad’s friend let me know about the games and its value is in the thousands. In the pictures I see mega man x3 I think it’s CIB and chrono trigger CIB, and a bunch of others. I also see sega CD games and the tower of power.
It's really funny watching them eat that cereal that tastes like cardboard, and pretend that it doesn't. I was already on a keto diet for a year, and used to not eating sugar. For me, and this goes for you chase or for any other reseller looking to save up money, I was having zero success at all saving anything, all the money I was making was going straight back into inventory. But, (since im a bit of a lower income store) I decided I would only keep $50 of spending money in my debit account, and all the other money I made would go into a savings account. I try to spend the $50 everyday, and when I get paid I simply fill my account back to $50 and put the rest into a savings. I couldn't save even $400 in 4 months of work before this, but after I saved over $1500 in just two weeks. If I had continued on the path of spending as soon as I got I would have been stuck in an infinite circle of absolutely no reward. Maybe something like this could work for this challenge, making vaulted money go in more often, and I hope this could be good advice to any beginner/intermediate reseller looking to make it effective in their lives.
Ehhh, spending it as soon as you have it on new inventory doesn't necessarily have an effect on profitability, assuming you aren't just blowing it on random junk that isn't profitable or moves slowly. The start of reselling is the hardest part unless you get lucky. Reselling is one of those things where you will be crawling for the first few hundred, depending on what you're selling, even up to the low 1000s, after that you're pretty much golden. I sell primarily trading cards and when I had under 1k in assets it was awful lol You're basically just waiting for stuff to sell and you're always broke, but once you get to the 2-4k range and more, you really start chugging. Now my inventory is usually hovering around 10-15k in value, with another 8-12k in cash and a few thousand worth of unlisted stuff I need to sort through. Monthly I usually do around 15k gross and my profit is usually around 4k or so, which is good enough for me for now.
Nvidia shield can be used as a plex server and it's a pretty good 4k upscaler. And it's just a fast streaming box on top of that. I've had one for years and it was worth the price.
