I know, when I play with Org mates we check them but when I’m playing solo and trying to keep time down on the vids I don’t bother. You used to be able to scan from inside ship each container but now it seems you don’t get any info so you have to get out and look manually.

Thank you 👍 I didn’t need to do any HRTs or VHRTs this patch as the ERTs just seemed to be unlocked straight away but it’s great to hear there is still some nice loot in the lower level missions 👍 I think ERTs are easier than the lower level missions as you don’t really get many combat specific ships like you do in HRTs and VHRTs. What ship you doing your missions in?
@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi yeah I've heard some people didn't need to grind but I don't have access to ERT I've found HRTs can be quite annoying with so many small fighters can do quite a bit of damage when they all running ballistics haha
@brandonstein87 yeah you can find look from HRTs and VHRTs but it's not as common and mainly junk Occasionally you can some drugs But also they're weaker enemies so it full kill them by accident all the time haha
Did you try opening doors from the pilots seat on the jump? By default, the bind is not set, but you can set one for "open/close all doors" in the settings, or something like that. Much easier than detaching cargo and blowing it up lol. Also huge QoL for your own ship when entering and exiting and lining up your ramp etc.

No I don’t cancel. If you cancel they don’t seem to pop up for a while. You can engage them from distance with missile and then head up out of atmosphere to make planet ones easier. Or wait maybe 10 min for a new one to pop if you abandon planet one. But you might end up with planet one again after, that’s the risk.
Sometimes from underneath where the cargo doors are and sometimes from the captain seat with open all exterior doors keybind, which you have to set in keybinds 👍

I have not tried space combat bounty hunting missions yet, all my combat experience has been planetside on foot, which is what I enjoy the most. But I definitely want to get into the space combat gameplay loop, especially if there is potential for loot like this! But my problem is two fold: 1) I have minimal to zero space combat experience. I have watched some tutorial videos so I do have basic knowledge of space combat but little hands-on experience 2) I have little to no rep/progression so no access to ERTs for quite a while. Hey 👋 yes you are welcome to join our org. Visit the ADI star citizen forum page and it will instruct you how to join. It’s very simple and I was gaming with the Org in no time. Like 20minutes from wanting to join 😂 Then we can group up and ERT on coms. Always people playing most nights. Once you group with someone who has the rep you can do ERTs straight away 👍 Most difficult thing about space combat is not colliding with other ships, then powering to weapons with F5 and powering to shields with F7 is quite important but apart from that you will be all good 👍
Will have a look for you see if I can find one. Once you start bounties, keep your eye on the rep tab and when you get a full bar on each tier there will appear a mission you have to pay for which will be an evaluation mission to unlock the next level of missions 👍

Ye fighter ships are harder! But you have to do ERTs for these big ships and not HRTs. I have access to them as I have full rep in the last few patches. Even though I show low rep I still have access to higher missions. Keep grinding till you unlock the certification for ERT bounties or group with someone who has access to them 👍

how do you get ERT ? i am on Crusader 100 % and the same Rank as you and on Boutny second last Rank but i dont get ERT thats super weird did i miss some master quest for this ?
There will be a certification mission (s) you need to do in the Bounty Hunter list. Each time you rank up you do a certification mission to unlock Hrt, Vhrt, Ert. They will be missions you have to pay for, not ones that pay you for doing the mission. They might be in other systems around the verse not only crusader. Take you all over the place but worth it 👍
I have access to the ERTs because I earned the rep in previous patches. So even though rep was reset this patch, you still have same level access from your previous progression.
There isn't a right or wrong way to do something of course...but i've found it easier just to sit in the captain's chair and open all doors in ships like the hammerhead, 890j, etc. Also, i don't trust scans and have been rewarded for that a few times.
Ye tried the captains chair open all doors last night and it worked great 👍 And ye the scanner is dodgy hey! But majority of time for me it’s quite accurate when it works! Sometimes the good stuff scrolls of the page in the list of scan results so you don’t see it in list but it’s in ship 👍
First time I'm seeing someone with such low DPI settings on their mouse, or are you playing with a trackball mouse or something? To each his own, not hating here, just curious.
I like it slower for FPS and when looking round the cockpit on the screens and free look. Also have to have it slow when using the tractor beam turret, otherwise it’s just mentally fast trying to load the cargo. I can speed it up on the mouse when I need to but this speed works best for all things I find 👍
I use my Corsair + Mirai Pulse for this missions too in asteroid field Yela.. I park with my Corsair ~17km away from target and fly in with the Pulse. If i come near to the ships (~50m) mostly the shield from targets are going off. So i can check with Scan what is inside and open easy the cargo bay (excepted Hammerhead,Corsair). I can destroy with Pulse all weapons from enemey ships. Thats funny, if they begin to move and can´t fire. Only problem is the redeemer , the Pilot is always bugged and i can´t shoot him out of the seat. Pilot stand behind/in the seat. I use this way, because to often i destroy the ships completly, if i attack them with my Corsair ....
how did you grind to get the corsair? the problem i have with this game is finding a way to make enough money to get a big ship like the corsair in order to do these bounties
My pledge is the Taurus so I can do the ERTs in that and then get millions in loot to buy any ship. If you don’t have a powerful enough ship, I would suggest doing the ERTs in a group and then sharing the earnings. Best advice I can give you is to join an Org. Makes the game SOOO much more fun. I’m in ADI currently which are a nice group of people if you want to join an Org 👍
Yes I had that problem at the start, keep an eye out for only missions with HRT or VHRT written in brackets at the end of the mission name. They will be ship combat missions.
I tried it recently, will do a video on different shooting modes soon. But I didn’t really like it as much as I used to. The crosshair just doesn’t track the targets well and I miss a lot of shots. Especially when using ballistics, it wastes a lot of bullets.
Never heard of that method or seen a back door on the 890. Send me a link to a vid that shows what you mean please. Would help to loot the 890s. Thanks 👍
@@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi with the corsair just use the smaller guns on second weapon group to aim at the cargo elevator and it should drop after 2-3 salvos. Just remember the shots come from left wing so you have to aim more to the right than you think if you are ~100-200m from target.
Ye they did but it’s starting to get better in latest patches. Since yesterday’s patch first 2 ERTs have been great. 2mill eggs in one and 45 Quant in another 👌👍
No I don’t think so, you have to group up with someone who already has the rep and access to those missions. Then they can share the ERT with you and you will get massive amounts of rep compared to low level bounties. 👍
@@SirSkint yes that's how it works, if someone shares the license with you. You also unlock it even without the rep. Until the next patch it will auto remove it
If you had the rep in previous patch, you get access almost immediately after doing first bounty certification mission. You still have to build rep again but missions are unlocked.

If the ship is damaged to the point the elevators don't function usually the cockpit is down also with only the self destruction option available

It for sure works on the hammerhead cargo elevator. Would assume it works here as well.
This works every time for me on the 890 and hammerhead.

try shooting the door with prsnl weapon or cutter attachment, it should open the cargo door and activate the buttons

Yes I’ve done a few with totally empty ships and then some with loads of cargo. I think they made bigger drops but more rare.
Lag pip circle shows where bulets will go
You can go in to cockpit sit in pilot seat and press open all button no need to blow up the ship

So how the hell did you get ERT offer, even though you are nowhere near max rep in of the areas or BH guild?
A lot of peeps asking that. Me and Org mates did one certification mission for bounties and the missions were available to us but the rep reset.

Seems like all/most of my bounties are dirt side. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
Do you mean dark side? Or dirt side meaning on planet? Where you have to go in on foot?

Why didn't you just blow the backdoor and suck them from there? There was no need to blow the ship. Strange approach to securing cargo.
