Great mix of fun, spirituality, jazz, and rockin ! Scofield starts tearing it up halfway thru. Cleary soul pervades.

Sco is in amazing form in this concert! He always brings it, but there's a little extra something in this one- the unique riffs, amazing comping, his use of effects. He gives a guitar clinic every time he picks up the instrument. I love it- big fan!

I love all the stuff the chameleon treats us with - but I loved this and the Ray Charles tribute the best. Sco looks like he's really enjoying himself. Unique player.

MERCY !! SO damn Fonky!! What a band, too.. how could Sco not
want to play his best stuff, with these cats playing behind him?? This is what
I love about Sco.he always changes things up from record to record..
(just saw him recently w/ Mike Stern, doing a more traditional Jazz thing..
still GREAT.and w/ Sco on a TELE, of all things.)
PIETY ST. is certainly one of his best. Jon Cleary's singing brings a LOT
to the party, as does that KILLin ' rhythm section!! Thanks a TON for putting
    this up.

One thing I really love about this show is that Sco is REALLY
going to town w/ his FX pedals ( and dig the quote from
Purple Haze around 21:40 !!) Last show I caught he had pretty turned
them ALL off..... and was using a pretty straight-ahead Jazz tone( or
at least as close as one could get from a Tele)
