- I bought myself this Spectrum last year for an absolute steal, purely to film this demo and then sell on for a tidy profit. I was NOT prepared for how much I would end up loving this thing!
The Spectrum is an envelope filter pedal that aims to accurately emulate all of the most iconic, and sought-after filter tones of the past 50 years...and absolutely nails it. 😙👌
If you're thinking about dropping hundreds for a vintage Mu-Tron, do yourself a favour and get one of these!

All source audio pedals are killer. The engineering behind them is second to none
Sounds good. I'm with you on the 'blend' debate, Would be great to see it on a lot of effects pedals - makes a huge difference I think.
Wow it’s sounds great but I still love my Professor Quackers. 👍💚
Same! 😁
😊
Is it just me or do envelopes make your jaw ache too? I cant listen/play them with doing the quacky mouth shapes. 😂
Everything about this is awesome, and that brushed steel, purple 😙👌
Haha, same here! 😄
Yeah, the enclosure is stunning. And that metallic purple really looks incredible in the light.
I wouldn't buy a filter pedal unless it made my mouth move. This one does.
Why is it clipping?
That's just the input of my phone. Envelope filters can easily cause audio clipping when recording, due to the high peaks in the effect.
I just wasn't able to monitor the overload peak levels with my current recording setup.
