Empty Head Effects Falling Man - lofi delay modulator
The Falling Man is a really unique take on modulated delay; with dynamically controlled pitch jumps and warbles that combine to deliver everything from wobbly slapback to seasick echo!

Coriolis Effects Hail To The King - the best KoT around?
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.6 дней назад
Coriolis Effects have done something really impressive, here. They took all of the features and functions of a fully spec'ed-out, King of Tone, and not only managed to improve on the design, but also shrank it down to fit inside a 125b enclosure! Among the many improvements made to this pedal, are the relocating of the previously internal dipswitches and trimpots, up onto the surface for easier...
Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler - dual-channel fuzz
Просмотров 2218 дней назад
Dr. Scientist very kindly contributed this pedal to my recent 7,000 subscribers giveaway, and I've only just managed to get around to editing my demo for it! 🤦🏻♂️ The Frazz Dazzler is an amazing, and totally original, dual-channel fuzz pedal, with 3-band EQ, mix & volume controls, expression input, top jacks, and soft-click footswitches....It also looks absolutely incredible! 😝 I miss this thi...

PastFx PX-101 Lowpass Filter
Просмотров 25115 дней назад
PastFx have always gone the extra mile in resurrecting long discontinued, and highly sought-after effects, and sprinkling them with a few modern touches to make them even better than the originals. And yet, they've somehow outdone themselves with this, their latest creation; the PX-101 Lowpass Filter. If you've ever seen a Moog Moogerfooger pedal, you'll know just how massive they are. So it's ...
PastFx PX-101 Lowpass Filter - "Honey, I Shrunk The Moogerfooger!"
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.15 дней назад
This is one of the most significant pedal releases of the year, in my humble opinion... PastFx have always gone the extra mile in resurrecting long discontinued, and highly sought-after effects, and sprinkling them with a few modern touches to make them even better than the originals. Blackskycraft Sunbros - gritty reverb + tremolo
Просмотров 33221 день назад
I've been itching to try something from Blackskycraft for ages, and so when this Sunbros appeared on ebay recently, I grabbed it without hesitation. After having spent some time with it, I completely understand the hype. This thing is awesome! For those who don't know, Sunbros is a "Belton Brick" style reverb, with three kinds of tremolo that can be added to the wet signal, dry signal, or both....
Let's Play All / Funny Little Boxes Skeleton Key - QOTSA in a box!

Meris Ottobit Jr - bitcrusher / step-sequencer / stutter
Просмотров 42028 дней назад
This is only the third Meris pedal I've tried, and I immediately fell in love with it! Bitcrushing can be a tricky effect to use practically, I find. However, the Ottobit combines its bitcrusher with step-sequencing and an amazing stutter/glitch effect, making for an immensely versatile, and highly musical effect. I think this might just have earned a spot in my top 10 favourite pedals. You can...
Weird Noise What The Fuzz

This is a silicon fuzz that can go from full and heavy, to gated and spitty, and everything in between! It also glows under UV light, which is a really neat feature. *Follow Weird Noise on Instagram, here:* weirdnoisepedals?igsh=MTlhZmMwb3h0dnlrdw And check out my demos for the other pedals featured in this video, here: *TKoG Pitch Magpie:* ruclips.net/video/T3P3WIBEJv4/видео.html...
Miku Monday: Modded Miku! - Blind Panic Devices "Yoko MIku" (feat. 'Simon The Magpie' mod)
Просмотров 382Месяц назад
It's been 2 ½ years since my last 'Miku Monday' video, and today I'm resurrecting the format by diving headlong into the "Simon The Magpie mod" that Matt from Blind Panic Devices very kindly carried out for me. As well as the new "clock" control for manually pitch-shifting the effect, and the expression input for hands-free operation, Matt also added an internal trimpot and dipswitch to adjust ...
QQC: Past Fx PX65 + Stone Deaf FX Rise & Shine
Просмотров 233Месяц назад
It's been a minute since I posted a 'QQC' episode, and what a pairing I have for you lot! 😝 These are two of the coolest examples of their respective effects, currently in my collection. The PX65 brings a modern, fresh take on the classic DOD Stereo Chorus, with Past Fx' customary, space-saving, 1590b enclosure and layout. The Rise & Shine is the most recent release from Stone Deaf FX and - lik...
Native Audio Ghost Ridge multi-mode reverb
Просмотров 260Месяц назад
The Ghost Ridge is a multi-mode reverb pedal with an incredibly simple control layout, slim form factor, built-in presets, and of course, four, amazing sounding, reverb algorithms! 🤌🏻 This is the ultimate "workhorse" reverb, and ideal for using in a live situation, thanks to its super minimal controls and easy to recall presets. The top jacks make squeezing it onto a pedalboard an absolute dodd...
Life Is Unfair Audio + Pedal Partners Violet Oscillation - fuzzy mayhem for shoegazers!
Просмотров 393Месяц назад
This pedal was the result of a collaboration between two bastions of the UK pedal scene; the pedal company, Life Is Unfair Audio, and the RUclips demo channel, Pedal Partners. 'Violet Oscillation' is a crazy, glitchy, synthy, spitty fuzz with an oscillating drone effect that is activated via its own footswitch, making it a barely tame-able monster that's an ideal choice for those who love shoeg...
I like this instrument design because the strings go straight towards the tuners, like a Fender. More likely to stay in tune better than the 3+3 arrangement of Gibsons. The cheap Chibson leaves you the $$$ install high end tuners, pickups and a bridge. If you don't like it, use it for wall art and use the high end hardware for something else. Or raise the strings and use it for slide playing.
Great point. And very good suggestions for back-up plans! Thanks! 👍🏼
Nicely done. These pedals weren’t on my radar last week. Now I’ve got an original Muffroom, Medic, and Camouflage, plus a Flir for fun. The deep will be next. I’ve got a ton of pedals and don’t need anymore, but these are sublime…
Sometimes I come back to this video and I wonder how you make it sound so fucking shitty?
That pitch modulation sounds killer, also love the feedback oscillation! great demo!
Can you get a basic Marshall Blues breaker mk 1 tone out of this?
Cymbals not helping here...
This might be something I need to get! And that MXR tremolo is a great pedal. I just wish it had a wider sweep on the stereo panning.
The pedal is intriguing, but this demo sounds absolutely terrible.
In what way?
Yeah sounds rather harsh. Would like to hear a side by side with the real KoT. Not convinced as is.
I'm working on it! 👍🏼
If you want to play a looper into this sort of pedal, use a "pickup simulator"-- i.e. it will take a low impedance signal and turn it into a high impedance one. I use it on bass to use impedance-sensitive fuzzes in buffered clean loops. They're passive, cheap and simple.
Thanks for the tip!
ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON! Red Panda pedals = A simple turn of any knob & something interesting happens (works well with line level & many non guitar inputs) Chase Bliss pedals = wow, I've had it a year & I still have to look at the manual ... to get much out of it. Releases limited edition pedal for way too much money then soon after makes a cheaper version. BOOM, FOR REAL!
this is a great format. looking forward to future videos like this! great shirt by the way ...
Ha, thank you. 😄
Hi! Is it possible to assign 1 footswitch to change tunings and the other footswitch to a momentary whammy like effect? Thank you!
I think you should interview me....the ball and chain 😉
😂😂😂
Tensor + Count tò 5 in One box.
Looks intimidating at first but essentially it's only 4 knobs per footswitch so imagine it as having 2 separate pedals (which it basically is).
Exactly! It's super easy and intuitive to navigate. The only slightly confusing part to get your head around, is the insert loop. But even that doesn't take too long to understand. 👍🏼
@@PedalExperiments I'm assuming the top jacks are the send and return jacks, and it sits between both drives in the signal chain right?
I explained it in my video. The top jacks are the main input/output, and the side jacks are the send/return. 👍🏼
@@PedalExperiments lol you're right that will take some getting used to. I thought you were mistaken in the video!
9:29 machine gun sounds 🤣🤣
hmmm not sure whether I like that switch or not.
It's interesting that the Coriolis site is showing the pedal as having no send/return jacks.
Yeah, that's the older design. This is the updated version. All future units will have the insert loop.
@@PedalExperiments Cool. Hopefully they update the pics on their site to reflect this.
SO MANY KNOBS AND SWITCHES Intimidating and yet... alluring.
Also there is no 6 year wait for this
However, it is currently sold out...
@@illegal_space_alien yeah just seen that but seems like you jump on in and get on a much shorter waiting list. I’m currently on KoTs. Was on it years ago and they got to me right when I was going through a divorce
So you know it's good. 😜
Also true! 👍🏼
Very useful, thanks for the upload
My pleasure! Glad it helped you. 👍🏼
@@PedalExperiments Works good with synthesizers too: makes sequences a bit weird
Big melvins vibes
Looking forward to the series!
Thanks, David! 😊
Frazz Dazzler is Frickin Fraztastic
5:50 tone is that dope
This is one I want to try! I have the BitQuest and it’s so good. Thanks for another great demo
Every single pedal they do sounds awesome. Love my 'Dusk'!
thats crazy
Great walkthrough. Just got one today with the nos chips. I love it! Thanks for showing the range of the parameters. Perfect demo. I don’t want some over produced song with drums and vocals, just the pedal tweaked to a repeating loop…
I got a Zoom multistomp just for the reverse reverb, because thes pedals were just insanely expensive and are no longer produced. Have to say, Digitech makes some GREAT pedals
I love knowing how much power a pedal uses
Elad builds great pedals -
Absolutely! He's an incredibly skilled dude, and just an all-round, class-act!
Can you modulate the rate once in tap tempo?
Love this format! Great getting to know Elad, looking forward to seeing who else you get.😉
Thanks, Matt! Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Don't worry, you're on my list to interview at some point. 😜
So if the level slider doesn't really increase the volume, does it mean than I can't use this pedal on the FX loop as a sort of master volume raise the volume for some leads?
I believe it can be modded to boost the signal, but otherwise, in stock form, unfortunately not. However, its predecessor - the black and yellow version - *does* boost the signal. So I'd maybe get that one.
Seems like playing the lower bass strings of an electric guitar works, but doesn't work so well on the higher end strings. I am just learning this box, give me time!
I don't understand the point of this showcase when it's not connected as intended. In stereo.
I would have recorded it in stereo if I had the capability, but unfortunately I don't atm. So I did the best with what I have.
I’m suprised how bright it sounds compared to my Epi Dot
Ring modulators are not difficult to explain, some basic knowledge is required. You have two waves: the carrier (guitar in this) and the modulator. Speed (frequency) of the modulator can be controlled, and when it goes below audio rate we hear it as a tremelo effect. You can also call ring mods 4 quadrant multipliers, so we output the carrier times the modulator wave for all 4 quadrants (positive and negative). Compare this to a VCA (voltage controlled amplifier, common in synthesisers or compressors), where you have a signal (let's say guitar) and a voltage that multiplies that signal. VCAs are 2 quadrant multipliers, so you only multiply the incoming signal (to amplify it) by the positive portion of the voltage.
This is going to make thrift stores richer, the likes of Cashconverters, CeX, MPB etc ... everyones going to sell to them to get rid without a digital footprint of how much they have sold. The £1,700 is ridiculous. I have lots of individual electronics worth more than that. My camera for example. I guess making properly registered businesses thrive is the goal of the government here.
Ugh! Sold out!! I have been waiting and searching every couple of weeks for this release. I'm on email list, bought 3 PastFx pedals in the past. Dern!!!
Aw man, that sucks. Verlie posted about it on their Instagram stories all week, as did I. I don't think she fully understood how popular these pedals were going to be (despite me telling her over and over! Haha!). But she definitely knows now! So there will be more batches on the way...and *possibly* even an alternate colourway 🤫 so keep a close look out!
are these still available?
I think so. At least, it looks like it on their website.
*Check out 'Theo And His Pedals' for his bass demo of this pedal:* ruclips.net/video/j3T8igSlt7Q/видео.htmlsi=5a8vZhxbZnNxgIkH
Awesome pedal! Sounds great, very impressed Verlie was able to fit an entire Moogerfooger into such a small enclosure! Only thing that would make this pedal truly perfect is if the dipswitches were external, but honestly I don't even use expression pedals much at all anyway so it doesn't matter to me. Can't wait to get mine soon!
Oh yeah, that would be awesome. But that would definitely have been a bit too much to ask, I think. 😄 Congrats on your order! You're going to love it. 👍🏼
@@PedalExperiments Yeah, I agree. I couldn't ask for much more than this, plus the price is very fair. Thanks!
do you know if they have a US dealer would love to review one of these
No, I think they just deal direct through their Big Cartel. The link is in the description! You could also DM Joseph on Instagram to enquire about potentially reviewing a pedal. He might be able to hook you up?
@@PedalExperiments thanks I’ll check out the website
