Always have loved this channel! Bought the Sencut off this list as my first knife after 21 years on this earth at the time and I still haven’t it and haven’t replaced it and just barely sharpened it for the first time 3 days ago! Great recommendation 🎉
I really like the leaf shaped blade on the san angelo. But, there's so many good ones in this video, with tons of lefty love. Thanks for showing all these sweet options, always appreciate updated budget goodies.
Thanks for showing the Draco, it's been on my list for months. Definitely a future purchase now. And you're right about the ST102, it's incredible. Now I have to buy another one of those and the ST103 in micarta.
Good afternoon Jay! As we one video as usual and I hope you have a great day Brother. Those two new Civivi Frame locks are sweet, Kizer kills it like always and I love that CM Kubey design as well.
I really like that Sencut San Angelo. The shape of it reminds me of a Canadian belt knife, and that's pretty cool. Thanks for showing all these, buddy!
Here’s one everyone will love , green thorn stellar or civivi praxis with the new clear resin scales is insane fellas and ladies 👍👍. Civivi conspirator too and an Orion solaris . That green thorn stellar and new handled praxis tho are like a big wow . It’s noticeably lighter , metal backspacer , has it’s own sound , same great action and able to be deployed with a spidey or thumb since the blade is high enough . I know it’s like a three or four year old knife since it came out but those new scales with the TI clip civivi sells makes it really good . Anyone that uses the knife knows that it slices like a dream
Thank you sir for another great video that shows love to those of us with financial constraints. In the battle of the budget button lock which on wins, the Sencut Sachse vs. CJRB Pyrite? I am partial to the AR-RPM9 of the Pyrite myself. They dropped at White Mountain for $50 but I missed out on the stainless one.
Hello Jay. I realy like your reviews. In this u have the huggin. I never had a vg10. Is that a good Quality? + voltaic i will order right now. Keep doing what u do. Best regards from 🇸🇪
Anther great list Jay 👍 both those Sencut knives are really nice, drop bear is a bit pricey but also really good. That ST102 looks good. All nice choices except that 100+ Civivi. That’s also one that seems a little over priced. 👊
Can you tell me what the top five choices of blade steel I would want to buy given the choice at the same price point of under $35? Guessing 14c28n / 10cr--- / 9cr--- / 8cr--- / 7cr--- / D2 / ??? (as an example to choose)
Wassup Jay 👍🇺🇲👍 Your content as usual is for the Realist collector....meaning you show us great value blades as compared to the brand new 600 dollar titanium excalibur
Like I said you are my favorite knife reviewer now. So I have saved this question for the right person I hope. Have you ever noticed knife brands from Civivi to SRM and just about all the Chinese brands have models that seem basically the same? At different price points but for the most part you can just shop brands and get the lowest price and end up with the same basic knife. I am a serious knife collector, if I could figure out how to upload pictures I would here. I have been collecting knives since the early 80's . And recently ( the past 6 or 7 years) I have kinda went over to budget knives with the occasional high end knife here and there. While purchasing Bestech, Civivi Petrified Fish, etc I have noticed many blades and builds to be rather close to each other. They may have a different name like for instance the Beluga, in a Petrified Fish it is slightly different to the Bestech Beluga depending on which blade you choose. Sometimes it feels if one dude in China is creating all these knives in his garage and cranking them out with different brand names on them. Probably Xi Jinping building them on the weekends in between taking over the world. Okay just kidding. Don't nuke us. We are still purchasing knives. Which btw, you folks who are hard on people who are purchasing from China.. You are missing out on some outstanding knives! The Chinese can really build good knives now!
Hello Jay. I hope all is well brother. Yesterday I got a green thorn stellar amber 70 bucks I can’t believe it I’ve been telling everybody. This thing is awesome looks feels action the clip oh man the clip J you can’t even feel it. And then a proponent today which is huge. I like it. I remember when I found you I was buying Gansos and $50 knives . I went off the deep end bro. Still at least I have something to show for it I didn’t go anywhere or buy anything all summer. I own a business so I have some money for a tool allowance and I will use these knives .
Just watching some of your videos and noticed the palmetto tree on your shirt. Are you from South Carolina? If so, hello from a fellow South Carolinian. 👋👋
I'm sorry, didn't mean to worry ya. I was working on some video ideas, so I wrote 5 new ones. I would rather make 1 good video instead of a couple that are just ok.
I'll never understand why Amazon won't sell or deliver to Massachusetts 90% of the knives in these reviews. All the other Knife retailers certainly will.
My wife got me the ST102 for Christmas, had to return it... Its a dangerous knife unfortunately. The edge of the blade is extremely close to the back of the handle when the knife is closed. Close enough that you could cut yourself fairly easy if you were to run your finger down the back of the handle with any amount of pressure. Which, would be pretty easy to do just reaching in your pocket for it. Or if you're like me and fidget with stuff in your pockets. Anyways, its a real shame. Wish Sitivien had put a back spacer that ran the full length of the handle to protect the user because its really just an incredibly nice knife for the money. Super nice action, the green micarta felt great in hand, the size is just about perfect, and it carries like a dream, I had no idea it was in my pocket at any point. I'd 100% buy another one if they were to address the issue and do something to make the knife safer in this regard.
With all due respect, I think all those knives are unexceptional and overpriced. I'm waiting until prices normalize. If they don't, I'll still have too many knives. Thanks for the video.
Well thank you! I'm glad you came back home. I know it had been a minute since my last video. I just don't like making a video unless I have something to say or a concept. I would rather make 1 good video instead of 3 ok ones.
@@TheKnifeBeater I post garbage all the time. I envy your restraint! Of course I'm not a professional channel. Me and most of the other creators I'm friendly with are just a group of knife people who have a tendency to overshare lol. Have a great week Jay!
Thanks Jay. Nice to see the $30 to $100 options are really a fantastic value, and not skimping on quality!
Jay- the drop bear also has completely adjustable omega springs, so you can adjust the crossbar tension to anything you want
I was going to say the same thing!

Hey thanks so much! Yeah, I gotta pick up the Micarta 103 as well. I just love finding stuff like the Draco and Sitivien knives.
Good afternoon Jay! As we one video as usual and I hope you have a great day Brother. Those two new Civivi Frame locks are sweet, Kizer kills it like always and I love that CM Kubey design as well.
Hi Brandon, thanks so much! Yeah, I'm lovin' the Civivi frame locks too.
Cool, Jay! And the prices and links in the description are really helpful.
My pleasure Su. Thank you my friend!
I really like that Sencut San Angelo. The shape of it reminds me of a Canadian belt knife, and that's pretty cool. Thanks for showing all these, buddy!
Cool! Thanks for the review of these Amazon knives!
Would love a video on good beginners pocket knives for smaller hands. My grandsons will be knife ready this summer. Great vid!
Some great finds Jay. Another fantastic list!
Great video, thanks some more brands and models I need to try !
Thank you Larry!
Thanks you so much for these videos Jay! I just grabbed a Sitivien ST102 in brown micarta. It’s going to be a great work knife!
Hey Wes! Yeah, it's a sweet beater. I'll have to show ya my Shaman in 204P I picked up recently.
@@TheKnifeBeater look forward to seeing that one!
So this is the only video I’ve seen that shows a wolyfun knife, i’m glad you talked about it because I’m getting one right away!
Strong recommendations, I want to try them all!
Lol! Thanks Larry.
I definitely need a button lock Sencut! Right now Amazon has the Sitivien ST128 for 17.49, definitely a good deal! Take care Jay!

Great review and that Draco and Wolyfun are tempting my right now.
Great list Jay! And here is another one... Cold Steel AD-10 in S35VN for only $109. That's a pretty big chunk of S35 for that price, lol :)
Whoa, that is a great deal! Thanks!
That TG and Satchse just made my wishlist. Great video, buddy!

Thank you Anguz! Yeah, I like VG10, it's a good budgetish steel. It has decent edge retention and it's easy to sharpen.
Thx for answer.
Love the decks👍🏻
Thank you for noticing Mark! I like how the black one turned out.
Man, seeing that black and purple combo you showed off is making it harder and harder for me to resist the Drop Bear.
Really like the Huginn. The San Angelo blade is hot, hot, hot. Great video!
Hi Jay. Nice selection. All the best
Hi Don, thank you my friend!
Hi Jay, nice list! I’m liking the Drop Bear, gotta be Kizer smooth!
Thanks Brett! Yeah, the KBD is super smooth.

The Sencut San Angelo reminds me of the original Russell knife. But in a folding version.

Well, thanks for watching as usual anyways.

The TG Draco looks exactly like the FreeTiger FT914
Try the Sitivien ST152 and the Sencut serene… you may fond a new favorite:)

Is it me or does the TG DRACO look like the Baklash blade profile?
Sitivien is the new name for eafengrow
That shirt... Are you in South Carolina as well?
No, I'm in Illinois. I just have a few state flag shirts that I like to wear.

All these knives seem nicely executed for the price but they have no soul. Boring blade shapes, boring lines, just kinda blah. Not for me
Civivi Brazen, 14c28n all day everyday. Just bad ass for cheap.
