Do the same test at different price points. So pick a $100 knife next (like a Ferrum Forge Stinger), then do a $200 knife (like a Benchmade Bugout). Would be great to see if the extra money is truly worth it when it comes to build integrity.

I think the more expensive the knife the less it holds up to the torture tests (more chips in blade because harder edge), but day to day more expensive does better as far as edge retention of course

This is the kind of videos why this was my fav channel and got me into edc. Not the 500 dollar coin or a 400 dollar 1 dollar per lumen flashlight. We don't get to have companies give us high-end stuff free. Most of us normal people that just love edc things with normal bank accounts. Videos getting back to the roots is what I root for.

The Lander did VERY well! You put it through more torture than most knives would regularly be subjected to in most cases. I love my Lander and the fact that imagination is really just about the only thing limiting scale options for it. The Worksharp tools performed as expected. I’ve never seen the Ken Onion in action on a knife that small, and it looked to still be very user friendly, even at that blade size. For upcoming tests… EDC Flashlight torture test. Mud, water submersion, sand, extreme cold (maybe freeze in a block of ice), measure real world lumens etc.. This was a fun one, Taylor and Rikki! See you bros at Blade West!

I haven’t gone quite that far, but I have put my poor Pilar through quite a bit: wires, drywall, rope, prying out nails (with the spine not the edge), pruning bushes, Cardboard, unscrewing screws (do not recommend). It’s been dropped, stepped on and went through the wash…it’s a great little knife. Granted, it needs sharpened more often, but that’s part of the fun. :) I don’t think I could put mine through everything you did, but I’m still impressed with it.

I really like Work Sharp products! Field sharpener was my only sharpening system for a very long time, and I was able to put a really nice edge without using anything else.
When it comes to the video - abuse tests are very popular form on YT, but people usually choose the toughest knives and locking mechanism and they just try to break it. It's really nice to see a simple, budget liner lock tested in your videos.
With these tests people mostly focus on durability and toughness of a particular knife or lock. I think there are a lof of other interesting tests that can be made:
    - pocket clips - the comparison of different solutions - how easy it is to get it out of your pocket and put it back. Is it easy to lose your knife. Which pocket clips look best
    - slip joints - I think they've recently become popular again, but I think people sometimes don't treat these knives seriously. It would be nice to see a video putting them to more serious tests and showing how they behave in certain situations, how to work with them and whether a certain type of work is safe or not.
    - disassembly of different knives - maintenance is a part of carrying and using a knife. It would be interesting to see a video comparing the ease or difficulty of disassembly of different knives. Which knives are easy to maintain? What can be a problem during disassembly? Maybe you can organize "disassembly competition", measuring time it takes to disassemble and reassemble different knives.
    - testing different blade profiles and blade grinds and comparing how well they work in different situations, what are their strong and weak points
    - testing and comparing how various handle materials behave in different conditions, how tough and durable they are
    - you can also abuse some Rockstead knife, that will definitely get you some views 😁
These are just some random ideas, but it would be really interesting to see these kinds of tests as well.

Seeing how well the steel holds up to bending/twisting stress. It also might be cool to see how well a button lock holds up vs a frame lock or liner lock etc... This will be cool to see some of the most popular as well such as the bugout or para 3.

I would like to Umnumzaan or a Sebenza. I’m thinking they can take a real beating. Cool video

I do always laugh alittle when you say you break down boxes and do hard use with the razer blade you carry haha the feeling you always give me personally is you carry a 700 dollar kitchen knife and also a razer blade 😂 I'm sure that's not fully true but it is funny. Love the content man, fun video
