    Hi lovely people! We found a lot of comments in previous videos on essential oils and thought we address it in this video.
    We want to make it clear that we do acknowledge that EOs can be irritating to the skin depending on the type and what percentage they're used, but not everything is as black and white as it seems. There are studies out there that also talk about EOs that are beneficial due to their antimicrobial and antibacterial abilities (and as a reminder, we have a list of the sources we used in the description box.) What we also found out is that the EU and Korean cosmetic regulations are very strict with what is added into the product. Chances are that the products you see on the shelves are approved by these regulations.
    At the end of the day, we don't aim to "shame" anyone for using products containing essential oils or highly discourage anyone from doing so because skincare is so personal. What works for one person may not necessarily work for another, even if you share the same skin types. So we really want to encourage you to try products for yourselves and test to see what works and what doesn't work for you.
    Hope this clears things up for you! As always, thank you so much for your amazing support! We love you guys! 😘😘

    I tested gram flour as facewash, but it rather lead to skin rash. As a result, later, I started using littleextraa riceberry face wash, and trust me, my skin has greatly improved from this and got healthier than how it was... pimples lessened, scars and marks faded, pore size reduced a lot, and skin has become brighter and smoother, and I am receiving compliments from people these days.

      This riceberry facewash is excellent for achieving glowing skin. It is enriched with the benefits of black rice and white mulberry, which keeps our skin soft and hydrated. It also helps in hiding dark spots and pigmentation. It is additionally paraben-free. I strongly suggest after using it for 3 months.

      YESSSS we agree 100% with this! 🙏😍Feeling comfortable and confident truly stems from within, and for some it takes time to get there. My favorite lately has been the CeraVe Foaming facial cleanser. It has hyaluronic acid in it, but it’s still very light and the hyaluronic acid is listed more towards the middle so it’s not so much it’s drying but just enough my face feels clean after wards. This also has 3 essential ceramides in which I have noticed since started using has helped calm my skin in areas that tended to be red

    I always thought that it was weird that both CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser and CosRx gel cleanser are highly raved but neither worked for my skin. When I saw that your video categorizes these products for oily-combo skin types which adds up to why they didn’t work for my dry skin (even though the green CeraVe bottle is marketed for dry skin!!!) CeraVe didn’t feel like it did enough and CosRx mildly irritated my skin.
    I’ve switched over to Cetaphil cleanser since my dermatologist recommended very basic skincare routine after I was experiencing some skin irritation and eczema, esp since I love their moisturizer. It works fine but The Ordinary’s Saualane Cleanser does peak my interest as well! Will definitely try that next. I like the Fresh Soy Cleanser as well (also one of my first cleansers) but feels too luxurious to use everyday.

    Cleansing is my favorite step of skincare, and I find learning about them so fun! The Ordinary cleanser really is excellent, but it does burn my eyes so I don't like it when I'm wearing makeup. Makes you feel like you don't even have to put any other steps on after! I love a good unscented product, but a nice smelling cleanser also creates a nice experience. When it comes to essential oils, it also makes a HUGE difference as to what is put in the oil. A lot of companies dilute the oil with chemicals or heavy metals and sometimes even other oils, so you have to watch for that as well. If the oil isn't pure, then it won't have the effects they claim and can have negative side effects.

    Philosophy's Purity is my favorite gentle cleansers and I have oily acne skin type and but as I'm getting older I'm now in my late thirties I'm not quite as acneic or oily as I used to be by a long shot actually your skin does change a lot as you age. But even in my twenties when my skin was a whole lot more like actively oily and acne this cleanser was wonderful for my skin it calmed it and it actually reduced inflamation and active acne for me so I was surprised it wasn't mentioned.

    hiii. if you have sensitive combination acne prone skin, the inkeylist’s salicylic acid cleanser has done wonders for me. doesn’t dry out the skin at all, it lathers up, but does not foam. just putting it out there if you’re looking. 🤓

    Definitely will give Rael cleanser a try (the oil to foam cleanser is very intriguing), and I agree that the cosrx cleanser also dries out my combo skin as well. My go to cleanser is always Kraves matcha hemp hydrating cleanser, its super gentle and it is the product I always go back to when my skin is not reacting great with a new product.

    The Simple Micellar Facial Gel Wash (blue tube only!!!) is great AND drugstore; only like 5 bucks. Just as the name says, it’s simple, hydrating and does the job! My dehydrated, dry combo, acne prone skin loves it. Also, LaRoche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser!! IMO better than the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. The LRP one has Niacinamide-which my skin LOVESSSS- and BOTH are fragrance free!

    bioderma Sebium cleanser is the only cleanser I’ll use for life. I have combo skin and have been using it since my late 20s, I’m almost 40 now. It’s the only cleanser that leaves my skin perfectly fresh, no dryness whatsoever. If you’ve reviewed it before I must’ve missed it, but I’m surprised it’s not in this video!

    hi you lovely people! I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did!
    now I already have a question regarding the topic of cleansers.
    what cleanser would you recommend for the double cleanse with the squalane cleanser? I have sensitive dry skin and love this one but as you said: a double cleanse is recommended. no I am struggling to find a cleanser that does the rest of the job yet does not irritate my skin or leave it stripped. but I also don't want to cleanse only once and risk breaking out. been there done that. :D
    thanks!

    I have the Cerave hydrating cleanser but I can't get away with using that every day year round. I use it mostly in the winter if my skin is really dry and irritated but otherwise it's just too emolient and buttery for my oily skin on a regular basis. I need something a little less emolient and frothy. I do like to mix in a dab of it with other cleansers though to get the hydrating qualities.

    Hi Beauty Within Team! Thank you for your informative videos. Just wanted to mention my favorite cleansers. I am oily prone and I currently love using the Garmier micellar water as a first cleanser followed by the Cerave hydrating cleanser. It's working very well for me. As a side note, I don't feel that any cleanser really works on my skin unless I use the two step cleansing method or unless I wash my face twice if using the same cleanser. Might be because I'm very oily 🤷🏾‍♂️. Thanks again!

    I loathe the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. I broke out with really HUGE pimples the next day after using it. After they subsided, I tried the cleanser again because I thought it was a coincidence, but nope. Broke out again. A cleanser that I found super gentle for my skin recently is Youth to the People. My ultimate HG gentle cleanser tho was LRP's Physiological Cleansing Gel which my dermatologist recommended to me. Sadly, it's been discontinued and I'm heartbroken.

    Omg, since I am watching your channel I soak up the videos and I am sooo happy how my skin has changed 🙏 I used to clean my combo skin with a wet towel and a harsh foaming cleanser, it was constantly stressed and red. Now using TO squalane cleanser and just rinse it with water, my skin is so soft, clear and nourished. Love you guys.

      Hi, does that squalene cleanser foams? I feel foaming cleanser stip my skin around the eyes and scheeks but i do get acne at the jaw line. I dont know what to use...

    • @NicoleStars
      @NicoleStars 2 года назад

      @@user-gc3rv6jw3n no, it doesn't foam and it is the best one for dry skin. Breakouts around jawline refers to hormonal disbalance. Believe me, I have it to.

    • @user-gc3rv6jw3n
      @user-gc3rv6jw3n 2 года назад

      @@NicoleStars Thanks! Yes thats the problem to keep the acne on the jawline and in my neck under control I need something that lathers/foam. But they always dry the skin on the rest of my face.. Its difficult. People say that the acne on my jaw is hormonal related but I only get them when I use skincare/creams and sunscreens that are too heavy for me..
      When I use non foaming cleansers I always feel they leave a little layer in my neck after I have applied my moisturizer too. That I dont feel when I use a more foamy cleanser. And that is why they help for my acne I think.
      But this cleanser has worked for you? Does it feel it leaves a little residue after you have used it and applied moisturizer too? :)

    • @user-gc3rv6jw3n
      @user-gc3rv6jw3n 2 года назад

    • @NicoleStars
      @NicoleStars 2 года назад

      @@user-gc3rv6jw3n the cleanser is a staple in my routine. It doesn't leave a residue after cleaning, I would hate that too! Important is, you have to use it on dry skin, rub it in until the cream transfer into oil. Then wet your palms and rub them over your face to mix it up a little bit. After this rinse it off. I used it wrong by myself first. Hope this will help you choose 😊
