Alex Debogorski thought about going on Death Road in Bolivia, but he declined because they would not pay him enough for this. On Season 1 in India, he quit after one day because of fear of angry mobs. He was supposed to come back, but there were visa issues. Hugh Rowland drove on Bolivia's Death Road, though he did not go to India.

That scene where the spotter told her to stop and she went anyway because she thought she could make it made me so angry. She was so proud of herself because "she was right".
If the spotter tells you to stop, you stop! He's not telling you to stop because he doesn't think you will make it, he tells you to stop if there is even a 1% chance that you won't make it. Because that 1% means you DIE.
While she was busy patting herself on the back I would have left her on the side of the road.
