Hurricane Beryl arrives in Jamaica - Live Coverage

- Hurricane Beryl became a historic storm this week as it barrelled through the Windward Islands and became a Category 5 storm in the Caribbean Sea. Severe impacts occurred in the Grenadines, who witnessed their strongest ever hurricane landfall, followed by the Atlantic's earliest Category 5 hurricane peak.
Beryl has been in a state of flux in the overnight hours, and has been struggling to poke through with its eye, but winds remain very strong, well into the Category 4 range. Beryl could still be at Category 4 intensity when it arrives and makes a possible landfall this morning or early afternoon, with a strength comparable to Hurricane Gilbert.
